  1. We should have a special FBI team that goes nationwide, investigates cases of stolen valor and prosecute and jail the offenders. Right now as a Veteran if you say anything to them, they just get indignant, tell you where to stuff it and the local police won't do anything.

  3. This type of crime is seldom prosecuted. By giving this person the maximum sentence, the federal court made an example of her. GOOD FOR THEM!

If more courts would follow suit with sentences like this, perhaps these bottom feeders would realize that we will not tolerate these crimes. The only thing that could have been done, was to also sentenced her to community service with our true hero's, our disabled veterans. This would provide justice for those who actually served, and sacrificed so much for our republic.

Now if we could just get judges to make examples of criminals for all crimes, rather than a slap on their wrists, and a slap to our faces, perhaps our country could become a safer place for the honest citizens, and crime would begin to decrease.

  4. From a Veteran: I Hope Time Slows Down, Once The Doors Slam Shut on you. You're A Liar! I have Had Such A Difficult Road Dealing With The V.A. Probably Not Helped…By People Like You Sucking Resources away from real Veterans, who need them.

  5. Not a veteran here and for some reason (irony or sarcasm) I'm totally okay saying that. How hard is that. I didn't serve (tried, but an L5-S1 fusion kicked me out of the running) but I will definitely give any vet any help they would need on the spot. Never once did I ever think "Oh I'm going to lie and see what benefits I could get!". Even if I felt the urge there is something called the internet. She is beyond stupid and I hope she learned a lesson and can recover her life.

  7. Wow she went lower than low. She feels she has already paid for part of the price because she lost her job and her reputation. Like seriously?????? Bitch did it all to herself. Losing her job and reputation isn't paying any price. If you did not see that was going to be a huge part of the outcome of your ignorance, then sucks to be you. You even dumber than originally thought.
