I was genuinely devastated someone like Miyamoto Musashi should of been the main character look him up and tell me if that’s not the obvious choice … they had the choice and they chose the woke diversity Im super pissed how Ubisoft has done this we’re all gonna be called racist even though I enjoyed playing mirage as a Muslim and origins enjoyed assassins creed freedom cry too all great games with characters that make sense I’d be outraged as a white man myself I’d be super pissed playing as a white European samurai just wouldn’t make any sense I know the game is fictional and abit far fetched but the setting the characters they have to make sense this doesn’t it’s a complete mess ……..

しかも、途中までUBIはこれを「史実に忠実」とまで言ってました。
さらに「日本人はたかがゲームの設定にうるさすぎる！この設定に文句を言う日本人は人種差別主義者なのよ！」と「政治的に正しい」黒人女性が叫びました。
理解できません。
何百年もの間、黒人が「White savior(白人の救世主)」「Magical negro(魔法の黒人=都合よく白人の味方をしてくれる黒人)」の表現に苦しめられ続けてきたというのは、嘘だったのでしょうか。
本当にそれで、黒人の方々が長年苦しめられてきたのならば、彼らには今の日本人の苦しみも理解できるはずなのではないか、と思うのですが。

I'm onboard with the outlaws criticism but peeps need to chill about the Yasuke hate. The majority of historians believe that Yasuke was in fact a samurai. Yes, no records outright say that Yasuke was but his role in court, battle, and japanese society generally heavily imply he was. Yes, it's not 100% but the evidence suggests that there is probably a 90+% chance. That's a much stronger evidence-based opinion than cherry-picking other individuals who were similar to Yasuke in status, roles etc. in one way or another. Also, a foreigner samurai (regardless of whatever underlying "virtue signalling" you're automatically suspecting) presents amazing opportunities for storytelling especially given that the samurai were very xenophobic.
Screw be Soft can shove it. Do not ever turn on your customers. Being woke is free so you won't need my money. There you go.
