Another weird law in Gravity Falls is that children can go to jail. That's why they arrested Gideon. Remember from the Gobblewonker episode where they make counterfeit money and then Mabel says "The county jail was so cold." It implies that they were detained there for the night.
And no, that was not Gideon's wig. That was Waddles' wig when he was dressed up as a mascot for Gideonland.

I wish before u react to the season 2 of Gravity Falls, u watch the shorts first because at that time when this show release, there is huge gap between season 1 and season 2. So they release these shorts first just to give them more times and calm us down😂. It is really great. I suggest u watch these shorts:

There are other shorts other than this but there are huge spoiler in those because they release it in mid and after season 2 end. So i think these 5 shorts series is safe for u to watch
the scene where stan pulls out journal 1 will ALWAYS give me chills. i remember watching this when it aired & we waited SO long for season 2. it felt like an eternityyy. i’m so excited for u to see how the rest of the show plays out. alex hirsch is so incredibly talented. this is easily one of the best animated shows ever created. <3
