  1. Great show, hope everyone is safe over there.

I'm baffled by them expecting all these current gen games coming to the switch 2. The Switch 2 isn't going to be as powerful as a ps5/XSX. It's going to be on par with a X1X/ps4. There's no way BG3 could run on a switch 2, it barely runs on a ps5. Indiana Jones uses mandatory RT GI. No way.

  2. My Q1 sizzle is Blade Chimera and fizzle is Assassin's Creed Shadows. Ubisoft is probably done as a company if that fails. Besides Rainbow Six, AC is their bread and butter franchise and if AC Shadows bombs their investors are going run for the hills.

  3. Worst part about these fires is, this isn't the end, this is just the new norm, it'll happen again next year.

The part about climate change people aren't realising is it's gradual, these fires got as bad cause instead of raining like it normally does in Jan it's windy.

Here, which here is just some shithole in the U.K named Sunderland, Summer when we were kids was June, June-August was summer, stupidly hot, September kicked off Autumn/Fall, November was winter.

Now, for the past 5-6 years everyone has noticed it doesn't start getting hot until late July, Mid August.

November, instead of snow, we get tons of rain and wind. Snow starts in Jan now.

The seasons are gradually shifting, to the point of, give it 20 years and we may legit have to redo the seasons, personally feel like we need too now, so sick of people saying when it's freezing cold in June "Summer has begun" no, still Srping, the seasons have shifted.

So all that to say, L.A, prepare for next year cause chances are the lack of rain and the unprecedented winds are your new norm so this will happen again next year too.

If you're in a position to move, do so, cause if you escape it this year, doesn't mean you will next year.

  4. 2:15:00 I played the ancient gods, do not play it, watch it on youtube, it is the most boring ass generic slog fest, every fight takes longer than the last, upwards of 30 minutes if memory serves of just doing the loop perfectly until finally you win and if you fail, which our ADHD ass did cause the longer they went on the more bored we got so it caused fail after fail after fail as we just lost all focus.

It, is probably the worst DLC we've ever played and the fact we played it around the time of Erdtree, which is by far the fucking best DLC ever, it made it feel even worse.

If you do play it, do yourself a favour and drop it to easy AF mode cause it isn't actually hard, just a long ass fucking slog and if you drop it to easy at least there's almost 0 chance of failing due to boredom and it'll drop 5 hours off your DLC run time.

  5. Yeah Nintendo just looks silly now not showing Switch2 at this point. And acting like Mario Cart 12 won’t be a launch game. With old tracks available for purchase in packs. Seriously though there has to be a new Contra or something that people have been wanting like Remake Super Metroid or Castelvainia or original Zelda. Games like FF7 remake/rebirth will be old news and won’t push initial sales. And let’s face it, no one wants to buy a Nintendo to play 3rd party ports.

  6. I guess these guys aren’t aware, but the new Dynasty Warrirors is actually looking to be a deeper take on the franchise. The combat is a lot more in depth and the developer said they took heavy inspiration from the Nioh games, which leads to some spectacular looking 1v1 boss battles.

It’s possible that it’s a game that surprises a lot of people.

  7. It's curious hearing an accusation of a game being "fake intellectual" from someone who said that Disco Elysium was incomprehensible to him based upon his personal limitations. On what basis is he judging the games as falsely intellectual, and how does he discern fake from genuine intellectualism? Why would there be an assumption that this new game is falsely intellectual in the same manner as the other two? Maybe I'm not familiar with an established shorthand this particular panelist has with the audience with regard to the intellectualism of writing, in the same vein as the established trust on the matter of which shotgun is the awesomest. I'm happy to see critique and encourage it, and I've never played any iteration of Nier — I just like to understand the guiding principles behind these type of polemics. I'm here for thoughtful commentary from the pros!

  8. Feel for Huber going through that sickness, but man does he need to know how to toggle mute when not talking. It's a matter of respecting the audience, I don't understand how no one thought to ask him about it.

  9. 1:35:41 – RGG put in more enemies to fight since 5 (one fight is Kiryu’s 1 vs 100/Tojo Clan and Kiwami 2 had another 1 vs 100 mission.) As for Dynasty Warriors Origins, it’s already different from before just by looking at the game. 1:38:24 – Yakuza games are generally yearly, but they’ve increased steadily and they’re working on VF and a new IP now. 1:39:03 – This is a spin-off that takes place after Yakuza 8 and will include returning characters and likely talk about what happened before, because the plot is that he has amnesia and is trying to remember what happened. Also, none of the recent games are really stand-alone (7 builds up from the whole series, 8 has Kiryu reminiscing about the past, Gaiden is a tie-in for 6-8, and this one is after 8.) Lost Judgement and 8 are also connected because of an event in 7 and other stuff.
