After months of charging through the Supercross season, Haiden Deegan headed back to his hometown to put on a clinic at Fox Raceway. Aboard his @MonsterEnergy Star Racing Yamaha YZ250F, Dangerboy Deegan showed everyone how it’s done– leaving the weekend with a 1-1 finish in both races, taking home the overall! Now it’s back to the Farm to train for next weekend when we head to Hangtown! 👊🏼

I HAVE TO TELL YOU DEEGANS SOMETHING STRAIGHT UP! I am a 60 year old man now, and hate the direction of the sport ever since the 4-strokes were forced on the industry. The sport I loved, that formed my life's work, (engineering degrees, but now build little 2-stroke engines for a living and sell them all over the world. The Mitch Payton of gas 1/5th scale RC cars and go-ped scooters), is gone. The tracks are designed to keep everybody the same speed as much as possible, (especially SX tracks. Harder to do for the nationals, but all the same dirt and baby smooth grooming.), and it tends to drive the most talented nuts, (Eli, Chase, Ken for 3 guys who can win any race they enter, but messed up in the head.). I am riding again, but I was getting sick of the politics that took over the sport, (taking over everything it looks like. I just thought MX would be last.).
I hate seeing everybody going the same speed (pretty much), with everybody having the track wired, on bikes that are too fast today, so the tracks got faster and more dangerous.
Butt Jett is beating the terrible FIM philosophy, and I never should have doubted a great individual can still do that.
Haiden, I put in that class also, and I love that kids "John Wayne" attitude, (after he died, the rest of you turned into pussies,—lol).
Jett and Haiden are making me interested in the sport again. I love to see greatness,—and not just another fast parade with pretty colors jumping up and down.
