Mr. Amitava Bhattacharya, Social Entrepreneur was one of the esteemed speakers for the Praxis TEDx event organized by Praxis Business School Kolkata campus on August 18, 2023. He recounted his personal journey with the Praxis audience underlining the theme ‘Winning Against All Odds’ for the TEDx event. Amitava Bhattacharya, based in Kolkata, an engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur and a Chevening–Gurukul Scholar from London School of Economics, is a social entrepreneur with 34 years of global experience [including 10 years of software experience (1989-99)], has formed banglanatak dot com in 2000 and now recognised globally for their innovations in fostering equitable development using culture as a global public good. banglanatak’s flagship initiative Art for Life (AFL) is a culture based development model focusing on holistic development.
