I love Willem so much. Such a unique individual. I'd watch him watching paint dry & be entertained
he's an actor thats definitely wasnt on my fav list as a youngster but completely adored him as i grew older! absolute class of a person and actor
BARZ
This video has better advice on filmmaking then a masterclass paid video lol
Give actor pigeon an oscar! 🐦 🥇
You know he is a good actor when he is an Absolute BANGER regardless of his role, whether it is in a drama, an author film or a Superhero Hollywood Blockbuster…the man is always FIRE 🔥
Willem Dafoe was in John Wick too. Many people just forget that the great actor was there too
So glad they included boondock saints, one of his best roles
00:04, does that mean if you think about your foot, you shoot yourself in the face?
He's a LEGEND
1:58 not me trying to do that
You can tell he loves his job
He is the perfect person to act as the Joker
I needed Spider-Man 2002, andThe Last Temptation Of Christ
No Mr. Bean’s Holiday?
I am REALLY glad that alongside the blockbuster stuff, they got him to react to two of his VERY best, yet incredibly different performances of his career in The Lighthouse and The Florida Project respectively. So cool.
I had to find out if Willem has an Oscar and I was blown away at the fact that he actually doesn't have one! The mastery he demonstraded in this video was just out of this world, he knows what he is doing, he obviously cares for his craft and it completely shows !
"LET NEPTUNE STRIKE YE DEAD, WINSLOW!!"
– 'the whole idea was that, we weren't bonding😄'
This guy is such a pure artist, and he makes what he does sound accessible, too. That's an art in itself.
Such a great actor the lighthouse is 1 of my favourite movies
He is such a genuine performer and person. Gotta love Willem.
At minute 8:40 he makes his thoughts very clear as to how he feels about Hollywood….probably why he’s never won an Oscar.
His description of how he just “let’s” his face do it’s thing is akin to how jazz musicians just relax and find there groove.
Saw him shopping in a Bed Bath and Beyond on 18th street ad 6th ave in NYC….. Looks exactly like he does in movies.
The Platoon was parodied in Tropic Thunder by Ben Stiller lol
willem dafoe goat legend
Willem Dafoe screaming at a pigeon goes so hard
If you think about your face you're gonna shoot yourself in the foot
I could listen to Willem talk about the art and creative process of filmmaking and acting forever. He's so eloquent and passionate
it’s so good to see he’s studied his craft to be a master but is still humble, he’s crediting all his other talent on the films, whether they’re in front or behind the camera, and he still seems keen and energetic enough to have a long career ahead of him!
This man deserves a joker movie
Really like the lobster speech, hark triton bit, i say it lots
"You know, I'm something of an actor myself."
He’ll end up getting an Oscar for one of his mediocre films as a way to make up for all the ones they missed
On screen he is Da Foe… on interviews he is Da Friend!!!
The only reason i watched spider man cause William came back in the movie
I like to think that scene where he starts laughing he is actually in a lot of pain, but he knows he is about to break Peter's morals so it makes him happy.
I'm so used to seeing him on screen it's a bit perturbing to hear Willem Dafoe's normal voice bc I feel like I'm picking up a whole lotta midwestern accent ig I just never noticed before 😅
Haha he more legend in Platoon then as Green Goblin hahahaha
He’s such a fine actor and seems so warm-hearted outside the acting
The Florida Project was a devastatingly beautiful film, everyone did such a great job. Definitely worth a watch.
I love him in boondock saints. His character is great. I'm happy they are making a third one. Of course he is iconic as goblin
