Will ZOS Deliver This Time? Studio Director's Letter from Matt Firor

“You’re a talker. Listening to talkers makes me thirsty”

I’ve read a lot of these over the years and I can’t think of a single situation where they were on schedule and met the deadline of their article. I don’t think we should expect different. I’d love to be wrong though! Excited that they’re saying they listened to feedback, happy they’re changing direction, but I need to see it. That’s just my opinion though!

I'm not saying this time CAN'T be different, I just wouldn't bet on it.

  2. Diablo 4 comes out in June, see ya eso, 6 years of talk and now more talk, sorry to say but this article from mat is just to keep us hanging on, again. Not bothered if they fix eso or not anymore, been way to many let downs with this game

  3. Nope ZOS won’t deliver they never deliver. They lie and placate and keep on collecting money. It’s not even about fixing cyro it’s about replacing cyro. We need new PvP content. Cyro is outdated and the large majority of the people that go in there don’t even want to PvP. It could be turned into a PvE zone and they would be happy to take empty keeps from NPCs.

  4. Too bad Matt didn’t make his own video of this announcement. Then you just edit in the dude on the game show speaking Spanish and going apeshit laughing and you’d get the same effect of what you’ve said here

  5. Thanks, love your videos. Every major MMO I’ve played in the past 20 years does this (7 in total). They have to balance new content with constantly fixing bugs due to the new content incorporated. They are saying this to make the “most” amount of people happy, keeping them on the hook with a feeling of hope. I really hope it happens but looking forward to your Ashes content 😂

  6. Tentpole marketing is a strategy devised by most artists, movies, and media production companies to seize the hype created around an event – a trend, or a moment in a manner that benefits them

  7. majority of E$O's playerbase are just shills and braindead whales…it doesnt matter whether the incompetent devs will make good on their promises or not, these ppl will keep the game profitable by purchasing crowns and $100 houses

  8. This was one of my favorite mmos, i was playing since launch in console, but they keep letting the community down, i sometimes come back for a month, but leave and I even started a new character on PC, would be great to get cross platform or character transfers, but we keep getting empty promises after empty promises, for years. Its sad that we cant even get block to work, and they always make an excuse about 26million lines of code, if its so dam buggy then try using an AI or something or they can just stop focusing on new systems and work on the stuff that broken, focuse 90% on fixing issues instead of pumping out more content.

  9. It's all talk….he said the exact same things after Trials of Atlatis when he was exec producer of Dark Age of Camelot. If you point that out on the forums you will get perma banned… ESO at this point deserves to die.

  10. I love how you said "we are on the wrong track this year from ZOS." Well the whole country has been on the wrong track since Biden was installed, what makes you think ZOS would be any different.. LOL
