Amidst the constraints of quarantine in 2020, Kubo found his calling in the world of music. Inspired by the evocative tunes that once graced the interludes of early “Adult Swim” shows, a vibe reminiscent of “Nujabes” and “J Dilla”, he ventured into the realm of lo-fi beats. However, his journey coincided with a tumultuous period on Twitch.tv as the platform wrestled with a deluge of DMCA strikes targeting music during livestreams.
By the close of that transformative year, Kubo had birthed a 10-track album titled “Winter Solstice”.
