I bought this camper a year ago with intentions to fix and sell it, but recently I had to tow it out to our campsite to prep the yard for winter. Lets see if we can bring it back to life, and put it back on the road!

  1. Had a 22RE in an 89 4 runner. Lasted over 300k, no overhaul, just regular maintenance. Rest of the truck rotted out, but was still running strong when I sold it. Best engine Toyota ever made, probably why they stopped making it. By the way, those are great little campers. A friend had one back in the 80s and got about 15 mpg with it.

  2. Kevin PLEASE take care of this camper! It's a Toyota and will last forever if you just show it some maintenance love! My uncle daily drives a 5 speed 1987 Corolla that is still going strong with just routine maintenance!

  3. Damn Kevin sir, once again you find an amazing find on marketplace. That camper is in really good shape for its age. I’m going to have to keep an eye out for it when you post it up again. I was really impressed also that everything still work. Iron out the bugs in it and you’ve got yourself a great buy! Looked like you guys had a fun night with beers, dogs and tots!!! Great video guys!!! 👍🏻

  4. My dad drives a toyota hilux with over 400k km on it, he's just now considering re-doing the engine as its never been done before, just re-did the transmission on it though, it was very loose. think its a 99 model.
