Lawmakers are discussing changes to how many homes can be built on a single plot of land. Supporters said the idea will create more affordable housing for residents, while those in opposition are concerned it will create a pathway to build something like monster homes.

The politicians will never approve more homes. Mainland owners and Chinese investors won’t allow because supply of homes goes up, property value goes down. Supply and demand.

Just change the building code to a minimum of 1 parking spot per 2 bedroom ratio on the owners property. Then let people build as they see fit.
