  1. Samson making fun of people with a superiority complex, and then getting painfully defensive when called out for anything, is totally great content. This is what I read here regularly unironically.

Ima guess scalpers selling tickets for beaucoup cost means the team can comfortably plan on raising prices now for years to come (which also increases perceived value on the brand across the board) Not sure how he’ll argue that’s bad for business but sure he will! As well as all the revenue a full stadium of people generates internally on all the marked up items he’s talked about mattering most to the team sales wise. That somehow doesn’t matter either. And I’ma guess those jersey sales (which are consumers paying good money to advertise for the team) create engagement otherwise not possible which again leads to financial deals like the ones they’re already signing. If he was genuine about all these connected hard and soft values to ownership the conversation would improve.

  2. Holy shit, Jeremy, the line was right there for you, the lowest hanging fruit you'll ever see, and STILL you blew it. White Mike goes water rafting??? Tell me you didn't get the joke before without telling me you didn't get the joke. White Mike would most definitely go WHITEwater rafting.

  3. Artie Moreno played himself. Wanted to hold onto the asset to chase 2023 playoffs and hope 60 days of on-field success after 3 years of utter futility would convince Shohei to resign with them. Now he will get neither Shohei producing on the field to help Angels make 2023 playoffs, NOR the potential trade value of the asset in the form of prospects. Shohei won’t play the rest of this year, won’t pitch next year, and then will leave after ‘24 to sign with the Dodgers and they will get nothing for him. 😂😂😂 🤌💋 chef’s kiss business sense right there 😂😂
We can call it now, cuz we all know this ends with Shohei leaving in free agency and the Angels having no on field success and no future prospects acquired via trade to show for dealing him: this is the biggest bungling, the most hilariously catastrophic failure of management in the history of American pro sports; A complete and total abortion. Moreno had perhaps 2 of the 5 greatest players ever fall into his lap, and then completely shit the bed in every conceivable way and this chapter will end with him having pretty much nothing to show for it all: no playoff berths, no pennants, no rings, no young prospects/hope for the future. It takes real skill to be that bad at being a billionaire

  4. The past two weeks without Dan makes me appreciate his skill in the big chair. Izzy doesn't get the show ( I had to skip through a lot the last few days, cause he just makes the show really awkward), and Dominique tries to hard. Pablo should be the permanent stand in for Dan. Really well done and managed everyone with stepping on toes or blatantly insulting them.

  5. Good Lord gym rats are not great , people who think gym rats are great don't know that "great" players play against gym rats who stink that's right if Tom Tom who played against Dolphins Bills Jets 6 times a year played 1 season against Reggie White every game he would need his head removed from his ass

  6. The comment about white water rafting by Israel Gutierrez is an example of why racism will always be a problem in this country. And if you don't understand why, you're adding to it.

  7. The MLS and other teams have a massive opportunity to grow financially. In finance terms, Messi is the ultimate asset; it's the asset that continues to create cash flows into the future. Other teams in MLS can now find the financing to attract top tier players to the league, as a result. Lets make this happen!!!
