Will worked in NASCAR racing from 1970 to 1994 as a crew member, crew chief and car owner with drivers Dale Earnhardt Sr., Ricky Rudd, Mark Martin, Joe Frasson, Cecil Gordon, Donnie Allison and Janet Guthrie. His cars that he built raced with the number 96 and 86 primarily and were featured in the movie “Stroker Ace” with Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson. Great interview with Mr. Cronkrite. @1:22:20 where he's talking about bringing the first "narrow" car to the track, About 1988 I was at the Baker/Schiff shop to pick up a body. Buddy (Baker) was really proud of "his" narrow Crisco Olds (he had started second or 3rd & finished 3rd at Daytona & Talladega. The bare "skin" from the doors back looked like had about 1 inch bondo each side.
