  1. Didnt play ptu yet. But we had a hell of a run since 3.18
We all knew it wont stay that easy as it is. I did piracy before it was cool and i will keep doing it.
Edit: people crying piracy is a problem, is the usual "loud minority". Its totally made up.

  2. I've got 300-ish hours, dozens of cargo runs, in SC and I've never once had a pirate encounter.
The only pvp I've had has been either as a bounty target or hunting a bounty target.

  3. I have 8 hour streams of rmc runs, a few 24 hour runs of rmc, not much stopping me LOL and if they do i stop running and start the pvp that i want, so i make money until someone tries to stop me

  4. Look as someone who is not a really good fighter pilot and prefers the industrial gameplay as a miner and a hauler I don't mind pirates as a game loop, I think it's cool. But I want them to have to disable and capture to get my treasure not just blow you out of the sky and collect the remnants. The thrill and adrenaline of having to go and defend your ship from invaders is appealing.

  5. Manual loading may also get people to buy less valuable commodities. The pirates will likely skulk around mines with the high value ores, so it will probably be safer for haulers to ship lower value cargo.

If people want to avoid other players and have PvP/PvE flags, I'm fine with that, but they can have no impact on other players either. So, no multicrew, no medical assists, no player transportation, no influence on the economy. I wouldn't even let them use chat (I would let them READ chat, so they can see the fun other people are having). Anything they buy in PvE cannot be used while in PvP, and any credits earned will be an alternate currency.

If you don't want the bad aspects of a multiplayer game, you shouldn't get the good parts either.
