This is Mike with Uneducated Entertainment, I make videos for Honey Island Kayak and since I started, I have seen so many amazing sights and animals! This is just one more in a long list of things I’ve been able to see thanks to my work for HIKT. Walking down a trail one day while waiting for kayak guests to return, I stumbled across a North American river otter! No idea if this was a male of female since to be honest, until a few years ago I didn’t know they existed even though they can range all the way into the northern part of California, where I grew up. It was incredible to get to watch these animals just hanging out only a few feet away from me and even to see one eat a catfish that was almost as big as the otter! I can’t wait to find out what I’ll see next! Come see the beautiful swamps with Jessica and find out more about the history and ecology of the area outside New Orleans and maybe you will be lucky enough to see one of these or many other amazing plants and animals
