  1. So at least for my runs and maybe it's because I wasn't using nurgle lords and heroes, but the Dragon Ogre Shaggoths always felt like they underperformed compared to the standard Dragon Ogres. While I'm sure following following my ABCs (Always Be Charging) can make Shaggoths shine, being able to turn off my brain and throw standard Dragon Ogres at a problem without worrying about them just getting snipped by ranged units and the higher model count allowing them to really tear through infantry faster always felt more valuable. Giants felt much more reliable given their model makes them fairly safe against Anti Large and they also don't get stuck in infantry blobs as much as the Shaggoths do from my experience. I'll give my next Kholek run a shot with the Nurgle lords and heroes as that might be what it takes for me to see the true potential in the Shaggoths.
Beyond that, only major difference was I really don't like to risk going after Grimgore so early, I usually march into Cathay and get as many vassals as I can before tackling him, so I can be alongside him in the war front down the line to make sure he isn't wiping factions out.

  2. Awesome video! One weird thing I've been encountering though is that I am unable to recruit the Summoners of the Rage at all :(. After capturing the challenge stone, I am unable to see them in my regiments of renown list, and they also do not appear at all in the regiment of renown list behind a lock or anything

  3. People suck as Kholerk especially for Gouverning Grimgor Early. I completly disagree to deal with Grimor early he go big too quickly, he can pass your army with his undeground stance as a orc, no Black Fortress. It take too much time to get. Keep the first settlement instead of giving him to a usless marauder vassal. When grimgor come in this province, sel it to him for a Pact. Then just expand like you usually did before the Chaos dwarf patch -> North territory for Black fortress. Having 5-6 Black fortress by turn 20-25 is better than having Grimgor as Vassal, even if he is a Strong Vassal. Keep a eye on Grimgor, join all his early war and come for him later on. By turn 40 you will probably have enough black fortreess income to afford 2-3 extra army at capital and around to send them againts Grimgoor

  4. Playing warriors of chaos without the fudging vassals mod is an inferior experience. Being able to claim territory taken by vassals, and then selling it back or keeping a conquered dark fortress is divine. .

  5. I was with you up until you were trying to do military alliances. I usually try to recruit 3 or 4 extra lots early on and continously build them and their army up. Then vassalize Grimmgore quickly (all with you basically). After that I turn back north and go on a rampage through the other chaos lords using Kholek and one support army to vassalize them and killing all Nurgle factions (fuck their plagues!). The other lies are sent to deal with Cathay with Grimmgore so even if my lord have "meh" armies it doesn't matter, I GOTS DA BOYZ 'ERE! The rest of the campaign at that point is a the full mass of the north eastern map pushing south and west with no one able to stop it. In fact I'm usually able to vassals random factions due by saying "sure I'll go to war with those 3 guys waaaaaaayyyyy over there as long as your my vassal." And they say yes which seems kind of broken and probably shouldn't happen lol

  7. Hey, that video was hilarious with all the funny edits!
By the way, are you planning on making videos for all the legendary lords? If so, I'd love to see one for Arkan the Black!

  8. For once I disagree with one of your advices and think you missed one :
    – the one i disagree with : Taking Ogrim as a vassal is annoying, too powerful and could destroy potential vassals, taking dark fortresses and annoy you in different ways.
    – the one I think you missed : from beginning, you can recruit dragon ogres in your main region and in the mountains south, having half a dozen of those tier4 bastards in your army in the first turns is a huge advantage and you can easily slaughter any army.

  9. That I suck with Chaotic Boys is hot take for sure, as I generally first-time factions on legendary without too much sweat. Still, I watch your videos because they are somewhat funny, and I usually learn something from them.

  10. I guess it kinda makes sense that the other ruinous powers get mad at you for getting vassals.. I mean.. They all want to be the big boy (or girl), and if you start gathering a bigger following than them, then they will want to knock you down a peg.

  11. Just because I saw you trying to target a spell and it constantly locked on to targets you didn't want, if you hold ALT you can ground-target AOE spells and it won't lock to nearby targets, making casting a precise spell directly between units much easier.
