For real though, how do YOU deal with invaders currently?
The mystery weapon is the ringed finger! Still don't know what actually is that.
I wouldn't mind invaders if they didn't have such horrible timing. Its always when im platforming with torrent or exploring places like stormveil.
I deal with them by summoning rotten stray and proccing rot with rotten breath then strafe with my shield up rinse and repeat when they get rid of rot

Most of time, I get summoned to deal with bosses like Malenia. No invader fight needed.
As for the mystery weapon: my answer is the Ringed Finger. Found in Gelmir Hero's Grave.
i never met an invader in ER because i never summoned anyone for co op. in DS3 i was always on the blue boy team to auto join in against invaders. while i like the pvp in souls games, i despise the lag and don't wanna bother learning how to compensate for it. i wish they improve the netcode to make it less laggy… or get better servers.
whenever I invade i bring presents and gesture before I duel😇 I always deal with invaders by looking for large areas of water and use lightning infused weapons! the mystery weapon is the ringed finger, my brother uses that weapon!

i like to pull out a pair and of the longest katanas in the game, denying invaders potions because i have just a "little" extra range, is very fun
look the people that leave have a simple pov:if he is red he is your enemy. if he is your enemy you are at war. if you cant win the war why should you let your enemy win? and also if you get mad about them not losing to you they will be overjoyed about it so yeah its best to just dont pay attention to them and go on with your life

I am not afraid of invaders, I am pissed off, cause if I am open to them is 95% of the time cause I am playing with my homies and I probably don't want a random to join our fun uninvited. Imagine you are going out on the weekend and some guy randomly joins your friend group and starts crackng jokes that hit and miss out of nowhere. That's literally how it feels.

You could entertain the topic of why PVPers get so salty about light roll. Tried it once out of curiosity, literally naked to make it work and all I get in response is kicks and point downs 😂
I currently don't deal with the invaders. I haven't accessed the internet on console and none of my friends have Elden Ring so I'd only ever fight if I used Taunters Tongue. I would be fine if I was invaded by the red men and died. It's just another death in a game full of them, anyways.
You know most of us bad red men just want a good time fighting other players. These tips are very one sided when most of us have to resort to being assholes just to make up for the fact…oh yeah WE ARE ALONE AGAINST 3 FUCKIN PEOPLE! with these tips it will fuck us over, which i know is the point but still youre giving us nothing to work with
Me and my buddy have a strat that works pretty well. I have heavy armor and a ton of vigor, I drop Rot breath. He is a Int stacker, he drops stars of ruin. Most invaders die in one cast of rot breath.

Your #1 tip: it baffles me that people are running around with less than 50 vigor even for pure pve/coop. Absolute minimum I'd say is 56 vigor and erdtree talisman +2. I've never gotten 1-shot or (but have been close) by an invader with this. BIG BEEFY BOIS STAY ALIVE

Oh i have fun with them win or lose doesn't matter to me, currently running a pure mage build for the first time testing spells out n watnot, around the inner consecrated snowfield area i was having a great bow battle with an invader,im using the lorettas great bow they're using the redahns while the host n other phantom stood behind watching it was fun..then i just finished them off with the rennalas full moon lol.

Remember, your gear is only as good as you are. Nothing will get you wins against an invader like learning how to PvP.
