21 And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go. 22 Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Israel is My son, My firstborn. 23 So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, indeed I will kill your son, your firstborn.” ’ ”

I think you misled us!
Did God Almighty in his own words said Jesus should come and die for people sin ? I understood one of the reasons Jesus was arrested and crucified was that he claimed to be God Almighty himself. So, dying for some people did not add well as a story . I don't even trust both the prophets and most of the write ups in the new testament. There are lot of exaggeration about Jesus christ that are not true.

Because Moses mislead the people of God by not telling them that it was God who caused the water to flow out the crag in the side of the mountain 🏔️ and not him. Rather he allowed the people to think that it was through him and his actions that the water flowed.

God was going to kill Moses because God had already Commanded Moses to go down to Tell Pharaoh to Let My people go. But Moses was hesitating to go. Because he was scared to go down to confront Pharaoh. But God already had told Moses that He would be with him and that He would protect him and that is why. God is not going to Command you to do something if He's not going to equipped you or giving you the Ability to be able to do it. For this is Impossible with men. But with God All Things are Possible.
