I don't believe the titanic scraped a hole in its hull by an iceberg. Why wouldn't it just rub against it ? The ships operators were steering it away, it's very thick steel, and steel is way stronger than ice. There's definitely something they're not telling us, maybe secrets about the incident that we'll never know.
