I have long maintained that the Freemasons and the Rosecurians Patrice their origins to the Templar nights. They certainly rebranded themselves in 1318 as the Order of Christ. If you recall the Templars we're destroyed in France. They did not suffer the same fate in England, Germany and other regions they occupy. In fact they were protected in Portugal and Cyprus. Modern fiction has used them as a backdrop for secret societies. The DaVinci Code and Assassin's Creed has them being the Priory of Sion and Abstergo, Inc., respectively one a good entity and the other wholely evil. But these are fictitious and not to be confused with the real fraternities that have tethered their rituals to the old Templars.

Small correction. Mainstream Freemasons don't claim descent from the Templars. The latest I've heard is that it's considered an interesting theory. But just a theory.
You completely neglected to mention the debts of the pope, and his collusion with King Phillip to orchestrate the excommunication of the templars as the excuse to not pay back their debts and keep their secrets that the Templars kept in agreement with the previous pope, and also the churches use of its monks, bishops and cardinals in organizing the Black day of Friday the 13th.

Idk about the entire chastity thing, my understanding is that the templars were only not allowed to marry and keep families. They still had there way with many a woman. They were known to create babies and the boys would eventually become templar recruits themselves. The girls either becoming nuns or working in whore houses that catered to the templars.
And if a woman became pregnant by a templar they were given an allowance to help care for the child until a certain age when they'd either become a templar recruit, nun, or worse….I did an in depth report on the templars in like 11th grade I believe. It was very indepth I actually got n A

I picked up a Bible from a charity outlet recently, it was an expense calf skin bound Cambridge Press Bible with a cross and "Knights Templar Order" golf foil stamped onto the cover, it was in brand new condition, boxed with warranty card. It is because of that Bible that I am now watching this video.
