As a Greek, I remember the first time I went to the central line. Felt just like home! Tho I can see how it gets annoying to British people during the summer.

Did I miss the part where the video explains, like its title says, why the London Underground makes itself hotter every year or does the video actually not address that?

Going on the central line is pure hell when it's peak tourism in summer AND it's hot.
I can say that standing in a station or tube with 5 gazillion people makes that shit feel like a microwave.

It's all very well spouting your modern 'science' and 'logic', but you should remember that British planners came to a hard cognitive stop in 1970 at exactly the same time that Conservative governments arrived at the conclusion that Britain was at its best in 1950. Since June 1970, literally nothing's happened. All our achievements since then are Murdoch-promoted propaganda, and very successful propaganda at that. If anyone mentions the Elizabeth line (note the name), back slowly away and never smile at them, as they're probably Soviet sympathisers or something.
the only real fix would be to either dig more ventilations, or just completely redesign the system to be much bigger like modern subways.

I'd worry more about the state of the air quality which is absolutely filthy with brake dust
