SHOULD YOU USE A LASER – (DBAL-PL) – Escape From Tarkov 12.12
Dear EFT players,
Wether you’re a beginner or a red keycard owner, you may ask yourself the question “Should I use a laser designator ?” and then “Should I use a red, blue or green one ?” to improve my gameplay ?
As you probably know it, in Escape From Tarkov your hip fire is way better when you use a laser but it’s not very discret. This is why you should use an infrared laser ! I’ll detail this below.
The answer is yes, you should use one but when you aim from afar, never forget to turn it off because the red/blue/green dot is not discret at all.
You don’t have anything to keybind, just put the laser or flashlight with laser on the designated attachement slot and you’re good.
Oh and, there’s a new laser with the 12.12, the one which is on the rangefinder. You can use it but if you’re a RFB user, let me tell you that it will be the same as before, you won’t be able to put it on. (No crack, no mod, no cheat… Still impossible to put a laser on this wonderful weapon. Sadge)
In terms of comparaison, I’d go for a DBAL-PL (if you unlocked it in Peacekeeper’s store because if not it’s expensive at the flea) as it’s pretty cheap and not that huge on the weapon. It’s also useful as you have a flashlight with it ! This one should match your requirements.
I give you a Tarkov tips : Even if the green laser can be barely seen, if you want to be very efficient, you should use the IR mode of the laser to hip fire, no one will see it and you will have the same accuracy than with laser sight. You’ll have to learn how to aim without the dot but when you’ll master it, you’ll have a deadly advantage over your opponents.

It's a very good tip – I always forget to turn off my red laser when I look if there is a player in the woods. Thank you very much – I'll try the infra red mode.
