This man sounds like a weird Argentinian man i met while staying there for vacation.🤔
There are too many assumptions here. I must say I noted that the Russians were rotating troops during the entire advance, until ukraine had mobilized.
So I have a question for the modern age, despite the high lethality of modern warfare, casualties seem pretty light in comparison to…what you’d expect from precision weapons and determined infantry attacks being mixed together, I used to just attribute this to the lower intensity combat that has been conducted for the last 30 years but that still doesn’t cut it, and doesn’t at all explain the current war.
Wagner Groups is always severely under geared. For example, in the Syrian Civil War, they were told that the Syrian government was going to issue them T-72s and other armored vehicles with good armor, etc…
instead, they were given old T 62s, some pick ups with added amor and some of those vehicles didn't even run and were basically a fortress on wheels that brakes broken.
The claim of collapsed lines is inconsistent with both the reported Ukranian casualties and the cohesiveness of Russian defenses.
The Russians have been falling back in the wake of every offensive, the only area where they stayed, Lyman, also ended in a retreat although much more disorderly.
If Russian lines had truly collapsed, there would be pockets being encircled in far more areas than just Lyman and Ukranian losses would not be so staggering.
An excellent summation. I especially enjoyed the links on your quotes
That moment when even the Imperium of Mankind would call the way you deploy soldiers 'wasteful'.
That would explain why they’re still trying to attack Bakhmut instead of waiting for the conscripts to show up, there’s definitely a sense that Russia’s priories are being set by politicians and not generals
Because we are been feed with war propaganda?
I don’t know why I even look at the comments, maybe it’s because I enjoy looking at people throwing out their own theories that either they or someone else came up with.
Buying equipment is not atypical, but it's more a matter personal preference than necessity. When I was deployed to provide intelligence support, I was not in a position where I needed to use my older M16A2. Even when I would follow the infantry on a cordon and search, I'd hang back while they secured the area.
–
The big item I bought was a 1 point sling to replace the older 2 point I was issued, so I could easily keep a hand free while maintaining control of my weapon. I also picked up a camelback backpack to carry the laptop, pen, notepad, and some medical supplies from the combat lifesaver course and have some water on hand without needing a separate piece of kit.
–
I could've gotten by with what I was issued, I wasn't missing things like medical equipment, or body armor
Russians, Ukrainians are not your enemies! Ukrainians are not forceing you to go to war! Your commanders are your real enemies! Your commanders in the field, goverment in Moskow, tyrannt Putin-they are your enemies! They are forceing you to go to war. For them you are just irelevant number, piece of human meat! You wil go to the front, and you will be wounded, your flesh will be in the pieces, you will die! And for what? If you have to die, die for yourself! Enemy is not outside. Enemy is always inside. People, individuals that are forceing you to go to combat, they are your enemies! Be quiet and obediant untill your training is finished and then when you will have weapons in your hands, kill your commanders! They will not expected, you just kill bastards suddenly! They are forceing you to do what you do not want! Your commanders are your enemies! People next to you who are forceing you to do what dont want to do, they are your real enemies! Few of you in every unit (3 or 4), you should kill your commanders and take command over unit. If you would have few units under your command, then you know that your main enemy is in Moskow. You should go to Moskow and change goverment! Russia needs a new revolution! I repet again: enemy is the person in front of you that forces you to do something that you dont want to do! That is enemy! Kill them and free yourself! Dont be a sheap… Any man that puts himself in position of authority over other person is an enemy! Kill him! when he will be dead, laying on the flor, you will see that he is not such authority as proclaime himself! We all will die! We all be dead! But kill the bastard that is pushing you to do something! That's heroism and bravery: to kill the authority! And you will feel the liberation! You will be free at least for the moment. Ofcourse, death will be our final liberation!
Quite good analysis.
There are only 2 omissions in my opinion.
First, Ukraine has at least 3 to 1 advantage in personnel currently, and it enjoyed a strong numerical advantage since the start of the operation (which is hilarious, given the russian manpower capabilities and speaks of some lack of willingness to go all-in on the operation. ).
Secondly, russian losses have been estimated to little 50K dead, and ukrainian losses – to almost 100K dead. Which does not have an effect on Ukraine's combat capabilities, due to the first point above.
All armies no matter what country should supply the best gear possible to the personnel for the job they are meant to do!!!
You should not have soldiers having to spend their salaries/pay to improve their protection!!!! Spend to add extra gear to supplement their gear, by all means. But they should never ever have to spend in order to upgrade or replace amy supplies!!!
Lol but america weaponized a whole country with vehicles weapons and much more when they ran AWAY so lets not forget that bit on how they left 2000 soldiers stranded in another country in the middle of a desert JOKE NATION
Sounds like Russia didn’t take notes during their great patriotic war when The Germans gift-wrapped the World War 2 Cup 🏆 to the Soviets after the Soviets checked the German advance which was a well deserved turn of momentum for the Russians who like the Ukrainians were defending their homeland from an invasion. But from Stalingrad to the end of the war Hitler basically gifted victory to the Soviets. Any talk of retreat to a more favorable position was answered with a dismissal by Hitler who like Putin was in a desperate position
your information is wrong and outdated, Putin already appointed sergey surovkin as joint commander of Russian military operation in Ukraine, he is the former commander of Russian forces in syria, his role decisively turning the tide in syria and manage to give Syrian Government an upper hand
It's the steppe. The Russians didn't bring an occupying force. In case you didn't know it, fall is here. The Russians have been withdrawing TOWARDS reinforcements. The UAF is now completely on the steppe.
Collapsing is a Russian specialty, they are prone to falling apart. Collapsing defensive lines are a precursor to the collapse of the federation
Ukrainians and the west (imperialists) are so desperate. they are seeking help from terrorism. so sad. A few guys asked why Russians advance so slowly. they thought Ukrainian defenses were so good, but Russia did not want to destroy infrastructure more than necessary. since there are civilians living there that they need that infrastructure
How can I trust you regarding history if you are unable to make a realistic analysis of current events?
