  1. These guys are forgetting that 3 other teams were competing for this QB, all of which were talking big money in spite of his potential discipline by the NFL. They did what they thought they bad to do to get TALENT WISE, a top 8 QB in the league to get their stellar roster to the Super Bowl.

  2. Everyone seems to forget that Cleveland sniffed out Watson and he told them he didn't want to go there. It was over . Then Baker decides to announce he won't play for the Browns cause he's a big baby and got butt hurt. So then the Browns made Watson an offer he couldn't refuse. But if Mayfield just kept his big mouth shut. He'd still be there.

  3. People forget the Browns HAD to offer him that if they wanted him. There were 12 other teams trying to get Watson. Let’s not act like they were the only team trying to bring him in. I still hate the move but let’s be truthful here.

  4. Baker Mayfield had 3 different head coaches during his 4 years with the Browns from the time he was drafted. A head coach is the foundation of the team. How can anyone expect a rookie quarterback in this kind of foundationless situation to live up to the hype, to learn and grow to be better? Baker Mayfield had 3 different head coaches in his first 3 years as an NFL quarterback. Now does this help or hurt any quarterback in that situation? I believe Baker Mayfield will thrive in Carolina with the Panthers but only time will tell. Having said all that, The Suspense is Killing Me!😁

  5. This bull about top tier QB is just horse manure. If that was the case, then why play the games? If you don't have the elite QB, go home. Shut it down. Yeah, Trent Dilfer was a top tier QB. GMAFB!

  6. “Ravens are one Lamar Jackson injury away from being a mediocre team” but that rationale doesn’t apply to the Bengals? I guess Brandon Allen or Jake Browning will carry them to glory if Burrow goes down! Laughable.

  7. The Browns don't need to be proven wrong, they are the organization that fired PAUL BROWN AND BILL BELICHICK! They don't deserve any fans, they don't deserve any sponsors, they don't deserve any wins. I won't be watching the NFL this year, but I wish Baker Mayfield and the Panthers a happy and healthy season.

  8. "We can't have Colin Kaepernick around…."

If Colin Kaepernick was playing like Watson was, some team would have picked him up. I understand the human element of the point, but from a football perspective Kaepernick was hardly balling before he was blackballed.
