  1. honestly the the first evergaol fight was a lot harder for me. beat Margit 1st try, beat Godrick in less than 10. but then again I did try to explore the rest of the starting area first before venturing into the castle.

  2. 12:58 i dont agree. to me, the hardest ds1 boss were the bell gargoyles. but i learnt so much from it that the game actually became easier after it. O&S very fun and i had a great time, needed a few trys but not hard at all. progress went really good from there on..

  3. This is a combination of streamers playing the game because it’s new and they want a ton of viewers, and they don’t really care about the game. Most streamers who play like this if you notice they only do the main story quest when playing games. Normally that wouldn’t be a issue but for a open world game from Souls games you will struggle. His complaint about nothingness is kind of dumb. You can use that argument in any game ever made by his logic. For example escape from Tarkov, and every other BR has a giant map where there are open areas you need to traverse. Summit should stick to super linear games that don’t require a challenge. Or next time research what game he is playing because it seems like he had zero idea what kind of game he was playing.

  4. 7 hours on butterfly!? This truly shows that every souls boss experience is not the same for everyone so i say this as a causal because i am no professional by any means, it took 5 tries on Lady Butterfly. But on Dark Souls 3, Pontiff pushed my shit in so viciously i almost uninstalled. But i beat the last boss in 3 tries.

  5. I held out a long time before playing a souls game, and when I finally did, I found it so much easier than I thought. I find games like Celeste, Returnal and Hades much harder to be honest. And a lot of normal games on hardest difficulty I find much harder too, like Doom, Last of Us, or even freaking Spider-Man haha. I don't know why, but Souls games the combat is so slow, you have so much time to react and time your moves. So when Souls players brag about how good they are at games, I get a little confused, since I don't find it that hard, just need a bit of patience and you have to slow down your combat. Plus you can level your way and get better gear to make it easier. Anyway, my point is I don't see people bragging about completing Returnal, Hades, Celeste or other games at Legendary the same way, or complaining that those games should remove their accessibility features or easy modes when they have one. So I just don't get the Souls players point of view in wanting to gate things.

  6. Here we go again with the same situation for every new souls game release. Some people try the game out, realize the game isn’t for them, and then start a flame war with the internet arguing how not being able to get into the game is somehow indicative of the game’s quality

  7. Firstly, ego gamers are idiots.. How small is ya peen.. Its a video game… Thats the same as those people who read ten books a week… Ok… So what.
First boss was hard… Solo… And playing the way i usually do… Dodge.. It doesnt work. Need to learn parry. It blends souls and sekiro perfectly. But get a summons… And boom.. Easy mode. The games whole thing.. Is… You have tools… Use em. Use the horse, the summons… Fuck.. You can level your ash summons.. That tells you everything.
The game is amazing. Im playing with those summons and i dont care..

    Hardcore gamers… Kill games.

  8. This is my first fromsoftware game ever and having the ability to just do another task to level up your abilities/weapons to go back to it, besides taking punishment from the same guy is amazing. This game is awesome and I love it so far.
