  1. I was flying the FSLabs A321Ceo in MSFS2020

And it’s great. Not yet completely done, but a very good aircraft. The GSX integration is superb, but some things are a bit tricky.

However I’m having a eyes problem. FSLabs A321, for me, has a problem with PFD and ND fonts. I can’t see them well and I was forced to stop flying the FSLabs

  2. Just to touch on something you said. You mentioned about Fenix making the Neo's. Is that confirmed? I have always wondered what their next move would be.
One thing I'm surprised no other developer has done is the de-icing fluid to be shown on the aircraft. Im sure its just a texture overlay but it looks soo good. Its these small details that add points to FSLabs. But are these details enough to put money back into a product that I had on P3D. Especially with no discount offered for existing customers.

  3. For me it's all about the Neo. I'm really hoping Fenix makes the NEOs and adds in some FSLabs features because I'm already invested in the Fenix lineup. But if they don't, I'd consider FSLabs for that. So long as people deem it safe from malware.

  4. yes indeed, for 70 bucks + 10 more we got 3 aircrafts (A319,A320,A321) with sharklets and every airframe has it unique characaristics, the fenix planes are enough in my opinion, no need for an addional visuals, sure FSlabs got more features but no worth the money

  5. I get it, but in my opinion, if you're just looking to fly around and hop from one plane to another, the FlyByWire Airbus and IniBuilds options are excellent choices. If you want something more in-depth, the Fenix series is the best. However, if you're seeking true study-level functionality and dynamics, the FSLabs Airbus is the one for you. Their focus isn’t on aesthetics, but on delivering unparalleled realism. Or try to match it.

My advice: if you want solid information about the differences and preferences between FSLabs and Fenix, check out Blackbox711. He’s a real-life Airbus pilot who provides neutral serious well-grounded insights, though of course, he shares his personal opinions as well.

The arguments made in the referenced video aren’t wrong, but they should be considered in the context of your own preferences. Both options (and even the free ones like FlyByWire and IniBuilds) are valid, and none are objectively bad or unworthy of consideration. It’s definitely not about competition. Let's stop in this world with who or what is bad or good or wrong, against it or with it.

As for why people aren’t flying the FSLabs, that’s a bold assumption—it’s simply not for everyone. Personally, I own them all, and my choice depends entirely on my mood and what I feel like flying the next day. Although I must say, the sim community is currently more focused on MSFS2024 and less on X-Plane 11/12, P3D, and MSFS2020. Therefore, if your airplane isn’t available for purchase in MSFS2024, it will likely receive less attention at the moment, this also doesn't help this product from FSlabs. There is no good or bad, ok..ok.. unless we are talking about Captain Sim and the new Aerosoft A330. But that's another story and a missed opportunity. (and then I start as well in saying good or bad. 😉 )
By the way, how do you measure that no one is flying the FSLabs? What is that claim based on? Do I miss something? Which is possible. Someone performing study-level scenarios with the FSLabs A321 likely won’t be flying online on VATSIM, IVAO, or similar platforms. Additionally, data from Volanta and/or SimBrief doesn’t necessarily provide a 1:1 reflection of whether someone is flying a specific aircraft or not. I’m assuming you have factual information to support your statement. If that’s the case, I have nothing further to say, and my assumption would be incorrect—apologies in that case.

  6. Their reputation is #1 reason for me. Even if they released an A350 or a Dreamliner for $1, I would not consider buying it at all, and since we already have Fenix, it's even more pointless, so I agree with all your other thoughts in the video, just different order and priority of the reasons 🙂

  7. Simple for me in my case. I have the Fenix A321. Looks, flys, sounds, and All in all is pretty damn good. I see no need to spend even more on an aircraft I already have.

  8. What FSLab did not long ago to everyone that bought the product was and will always be disgusting .And they are 4 years late to the party. I will not trust this company no matter what they say or how amazing their products could be.
FSLab fucked around and well they will be never trusted again from many sim pilots. Me included.
Fenix is doing an amazing job and the FSLab is only a filler from a garbage developer.
I can't understand why people are spending money on this awful company.
My advice is By Fenix if you want Airbus and never ever pay this company any of your hard earned money. It is better to burn your money than by a FSLab.

  9. I owned all of FSLabs planes in P3d thru ver 4.1 or so, when MSFS 2020 came out, I got it and played around on it but all of my planes were on P3d. When PMDG started seriously coding for MSFS 2020 I began my learning curve for it. I expected to hear info on FSLabs and their transition to MSFS 2020, but alas, it never happened. Fast fwd and a new company I had never heard of put out a video on the Fenix A320 and as soon as that bird became available, I bought it. I have gone back a few times and wondered what ever happened to FSLabs, but as the Fenix continued to advance, FSLabs became a dodo bird. So thats why I will most likely not go with FSLabs any longer.

  10. It is my goal to off board MSFS 2020 as soon as I feel 2024 is working fairly well. I have only used it once since the release of 2024. Buying an aircraft that is not yet in the new platform would be a step back, not to mention, Fenix has you covered here in both platforms. A no brainer to me.

  11. Fenix is pronounced the same as Phoenix Arizona. That's why they both use the Firebird or "Phoenix" as their logo, and if you look at the videos from Fenix you will hear them pronounce it the same as Phoenix Arizona. 😊

  12. In 2020 I was a PMDG Flyer. Ever since MSFS 2024, I decided to try the Fenix bundle after the lack of PMDG integration. I have never looked back, I've got all my peripherals now around the Airbus and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

  14. This just seemed like such an own goal by FSLabs. I know for them it was an easy choice since they probably had the majority of the systems and logic knowledge from FSX days to create a baseline. However, filling the void of other Airbus aircraft such as the 330/340 would have resulted in better sales imo.
