I love warhammer. I get mvp as bard very often. And I can support randoms enough to beat any guardian or chaos. The grind is real tho. Learning to love it

What he mention is the typical MMO "the end game grind" The long journey ahah I dont even get mad about the item level, I also dont care what others have or achieve. Im enjoying the game at my own pace, I play too many mmo that I know the mmo formula and how to enjoy it. "Play at your own pace and enjoy the game how you like it, you dont need to be a top player because people simply dont care honestly"

Lost ark was never going to be onto it was just the hype that keeps it alive
1% or less chance of upgrading? Ez content for a year or more lol
like Genshin impact… you farm new characteres, get to new places and when there is nothing else you just braindead collectables until you get bored of all the daily weekly chores you gotta do without any… well … change. the game is fun but you gotta usually spend few hours if you got alts to do all your daily, chaos runs, guardians etc. and you just gotta get out of the feeling that "if i dont do it today i am losing out because 10 of my friends will do it today and I will get behind"
only bad thing about this MMO is probably that 10% is fighting and 90% is sailing, running, moving, talking and skippin videos. but nice time waster thats for sure

I've been approaching a point where I'm considering dropping the game. I don't really mind the honing, for me it's the dailies and alt reliance. I really don't wanna be playing the same dailies over and over on multiple alts. Chaos dungeon feels so mindless and boring and una's task are awful, making you go all over the world, some of them even being time gated like she drifts, sea gifts. The reliance on being online at a certain time is annoying as hell. The rest system helps but it's still basically half rewards. It's such a shame because i adore the raids, islands, dungeons, story and even collection.
Unfortunately i have this battle with most daily systems, and once i stop doing dailies for a bit i tend to leave for good because i feel like i missed out on so many goodies
I play casually. 100 hours 2 T2, 1 T1.
The pace I have will put me at Argo around T4 coming out.
So ill be swapping to T4 gear before the upgrades become a problem.
The upgrade problems are mainly for the people who are 300+ hours 8 hour aday players. Who would be complaining about 0 to do after 2 months of rushing all the content. Had this not been a thing.
Theyre litterally the players who speed run wow and go "games dead".

Without Bot, this game is too borring.
Only having a bot, doing all sidequests for me, while i am sleeping, can make me play this game again.

I like the Chars and the PVP system. I like the Chaos Dungeouns and the big melle. But the rest of the game – JUST CRY FOR BOTTING.

i dont see a issue with this (bdo main of 3000 hours) in bdo you have >1% chance to upgrade but get this when you fail the item breaks or decreases item level. so imagine you are at 14 level and you fail well now you are at 13. or the item breaks all together..
the game will fizzle out, and only those with stockholm syndrome will remain, same happened with BDO.
it's all fancy graphics and spectacle until people get burned out and the game just milks whatever playerbase is left.
for those enjoying LA, i hope that doesn't happen, i really hope you folks can enjoy this game for years to come without the devs going the typical korean mmo route.
but i highly doubt that will be the case, seeing how the first content patch being what it is, fomo will be used to make sure you're paying up.
Most games has an endpoint.
No matter how much you play, there will always be a time when you reach the point of completed everything available.
You still have the fact to enjoy the game and do it again or leave.

For me the gameplay was actually kinda great, but the story was horrendous and I could not feel any attachment to the game.
My rng is already bad enough on honing and barely getting any island soul from events now I have to suffer in t3 with low chance on honing
So playing a game you like and are enjoying is a waste of time because you will not hit the absolute minmax endgame gamerTM ilvl score? ok

I semi quited lost Ark from grinding 6h a day. Im itemlevel 1070 and i just do my chaos dungeons twice a day and maybe some more, i try to upgrade 1-2 times and than i log off. Eventually i will get 1100 and unlock the new content and yeah… no need to hurry for me.

– Feels like p2w
– Frustrating honing (not enough mats)
– Bots
– Bots
– BOTS, that are currently killing the game
– Garbage pheon system
– Too many daily gated content to keep it going long term for someone that works etc.
– Amazon
– May feel like it is too much korean for some. Seriously… sometimes that game feels cringy AF.
– Lack of diversity in terms of customization and builds
