Server Transfer tech has existed forever, its the same as using a memory card or saving an nft, CRTL+C CTRL+V
they dont want to do it bc the servers are already at max cap with 10k queues, so they're making "maximum" money right now for their projections.
ANY mmo game can scale to support more servers, they're either being lazy or its "in process" and they are not allowed to discuss it due to contracts with various service vendors.
I was one of those idiots that bought the founders, I logged on day 1 of pre-launch access played for a few hours, not been able to get on again since (except for one morning where I tried at 4am) without a significant queue, suffice to say, I can't be bothered trying again.
Valtan is the same for NA. Got 6k Right now.
other korean mmo's: Black Desert, Dragon's Nest, Archage
were all caught red handed SUPPORTING gold sellers.

yet the gold sellers are ADVERTISING ON THE GAME'S OFFICIAL FORUMS AND IT NEVER GETS REMOVED (not even YEARS LATER) GOLD SELLERS WORK FOR THE GAME COMPANIES

I’m glad I decided to play on NA East instead of EU.
Zinnervale often has 20K queues so looking at 6-8 hours to log in.
Also EU West should have been there at launch, its not like they didn't know how many founders packs sold.
My server Zinnervale is full of founder pack people so not going to leave to another server where we don't have our stuff.

I'm just surprised that anyone is surprised about this. It's amazon, what did you expect? I just moved to west, its not like it would take me long to make the progress back. missing out on the packs i already claimed sucks a bit, but eh

There are 500-600k playing during the day. Not sure why these people are not at work or at school but all these problems start when servers reach there caps later in the day. This is not Amazon fault!! SmileGate needs to make the backend as polished as the frontend. Get it together with the migration tool and make sure everything you own is linked to account and not certain items to server. People want to move even reroll but certain things you own cant be moved. That’s just crazy.

queue is not my problem as I login everyday morning and not logout lol, the problem is matchmaking. we want the game to be smooth with friends to play with after going thru those long queues…
Everytime an online game releases in EU the same thing happens over and over, every single videogame company thinks we are not that many and fails miserably with the servers

I want to play the game, but i am "burning out" from the queue and lag. More than half of my "game time" is queue time at this rate, this on top of the fact that the leveling experince is pretty mediocre (it exists for the sake of existing), and it is very easy to drop the game.
Smilegate designed the game with that capacity because they made it for a fuckin country ONLY, and you're trying to release a game on a CONTINENT with the same capacity made for a country ?

im in US EAST LADON so it is easy to get into game … there is no que time.
maybe dont have an entire continent of players roll on 1 single server. i remember seeing DOZENS of videos telling people to not play on kadan, but here we are

I havent had this issue since 3 days ago
I never got to lvl 50. From coming home from work at 5pm and having to wait for a couple of hours to maybe play for two hours before I have to go to bed. Also the story/quest are so horrible that I can't even motivate myself to grind something that just sucks. I know end game is a completely different game but having to put 40hours to get to enjoy the game is just not worth it for me.
You dont even be a swiper. I wanted to buy mats in marines shop with free 500 blue gems we got and cant… Cuz shop is 90% time under maintenance.
Beside the shitfest that EUC is – not working crystalline aura, matchmaking in shambles, queues long as hell – another thing that adds salt to your wounds after moving to EUW is fact that you lost your Twitch drops and Starter Pack (yes, I got it because I wanted skin).
Steam is not allowing you to buy the same pack twice. And they won't transfer that for you either.
LOL "Just change the code" Asmon says. Bruh, look at FF14 as a prime example where 1.0 spaghettis code TO THIS DAY is causing issues because it's so tightly intertwined to the base systems of the game. Considering how tied to EVERYTHING this game is to the roster/server account, it's actually extremely believable that this isn't something they can just change without some MASSIVE redesign and even then, the amount it could potentially break.
I love Asmon and I'm not saying that is 100% the case but it's at the very least extremely believable, so his utter dismissal of it and comparing smilegate, a company that has fixed issues TO THEIR OWN COMPANIES PROFITS DETERAMINT, to suit the players, to fucking scum as blizzard, is just kinda dumb.
I am a programmer. Duplicating the level 50 boost and making it one-time server transfer only would take, on a development timeline scale, zero time.
I already started over when i had 40h into my character because of queues, now i have around 80h on another server. There is no fucking way im going to start over on west. I rather quit
the knowledge transfer literally boosts you to 50 by touching a book in trixion …. there cant be much coding requered to make this event happen with a shop prerequesite
