Bureaucracy and political corruption is the problem is all over India, the biggest problem in Kolkata are the people, they don't want to develop and love the way things are, slow. which is why even a little development happens, they are cheering, writing posts of how great it is. Just a few months back Deloitte opened its office in Kolkata, and people were celebrating like anything, which office in NCR, HYD, BLR are about to go bad (they were mostly happy, because now they don't have to leave Kolkata, which is they worst thing according to them). Things aren't antique anymore, they are old and worn out, trees coming out of houses…

  6. First of all, Kolkata is densely populated. Land requisition is a big problem here. Then, the transport system of Kolkata is better than some other cities in India. Some metro lines don't even have that many passengers because people prefer buses and other public transport.

  9. Ek ghar bane me tmc party tax dena parta hay gunda tax or metro build karne me kaya kaya karna ho ga koi soch nahi sakta agar 20 year me build hota achi batt hoga. 1 sal ka kam 10 sal lagta hay westbengal me bihar se bhi mimaru state hochuka hay guda i gunda jihadi state.

  10. Delhi is run by Central Govt and it's finances while West Bengal govt doesn't enjoy such priviliges.
    Delhi would be begging alms if it wasn't capital. The little amount of manufacturing hubs you see around delhi is because of it being Capital…They had to literally built a special zone known as NCR to somehow synethesis this benefit to states of Haryana and UP..
    Compared to other states like Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh who all are neighbours and each prosperous, West Bengal isn't lucky.
    The states bordering West Bengal are horrible in every social and economic parameters. They dump their over populations in Bengal and Indians expect Bengal to somehow become as Prosperous as Maharashtra. Inspite of all this, West Bengal still happens to be the only state in entire East India, which doesn't rely on Central Funds, but infact Centre earns from it.
    Kolkata inspite of bearing more Population than it should be, is still the 3rd largest city in India. And unlike other states and Cities , West Bengal never evicted anyone out of the state based on ethnic issues until now, although the state has been repeatedly SABOTAGED , Divided and badgered by the very people who Virtue signal and BURDEN it.
    WEST BENGAL is the most Bada&& state in entire India. If it's politicians became strict against JOB SECURITY and REFORMS to REGULATE labour POOL , It will easily Surpass the few states it has lagged behind.
