Vladimir Putin’s latest visit to China comes as Russia’s dependence has increased in the face of crippling western sanctions imposed over its invasion of Ukraine.
Although it’s not directly supplied Moscow with weapons, the flow of Chinese technology and goods have helped its war effort. Western powers are increasingly troubled by this deepening friendship.

BTW, all these sanctions will only push countries to create alternative systems to circumvent the US led systems especially financially. The west is drunk on power thinking nobody can challenge them. I thought i could get a non biased information from Aljazeera but this shows me i was wrong.

Never have been investments in China been as low as they have been since 2022 Russian attack. Being an eternal friend of Russia is like wearing concrete boots. While China is 10 times bigger economy than Russia, it seems that China can't hold it (stay on surface) much longer. Just like Russia, its economy running vast deficits and printing money is only way to survive. And that is BAD for countries that do not enjoy A TRUST (of others) of reserve currency status.
Why the west is concerned? PLEASE do investigate how Russian neighbors see the Russia and their plan. Ukraine was supposed to be a beginning. As an example, Russians have bought important pieces of land and properties from Finland. That has been stopped now, but they had a plan to send "green men" to those areas as soon as Ukraine is done. WW3 was THIS CLOSE. It stopped in Ukraine. Otherwise Beijing and Tehran could be now all gone. Unlikely, but who knows what Russian plan actually was. But to put it mildly, IT WAS NOT FRIENDLY.

WRONG analysis AGAIN and AGAIN. When will the US and western so called self-proclaimed experts ever learn? Although the value of trade in monetary terms between the US and Europe with China is more, China still values Russian relationship and partnership more important than the US and Europe which China learns that they kept repeating the same old bad attitude towards others and they don't do what they say. Whether the US or Europe likes it or not, China will continue to strengthen it's comprehensive strategic relationships and partnerships with Russia. The 2 leaders understand and click with each other very well. It is a DONE DEAL.
