Now that I’ve successfully clogged up my email inbox, I figured it would be time to explain the next steps following on from the community meet-up video. I wasn’t sure how popular it would be but I’ve been blown away by the responses.
PS – This video was filmed just before the weekend.

Aside from the aspect of not being able to meet or talk to you, as long as numbers were controlled or a suitable place, it gives owners a chance to talk to other owners about thoughts, likes, gripes etc. I used to attend car shows ,but some comments have given me a feeling they would prefer not to see an ev at there noisy and flash ice cars, pity really. I would quite happily socialise with others that have a more positive view on evs. M3LR is mine.
How's the charger coverage in South Wales?
I am picking up my first electric car in an hour or so.Your vids have persuaded me to get one!
I forsee an unintended consequences of a meet and greet, a headline in The Sun showing a pic of rammed charging hub and a headline along the lines of "massive queues for charging on a quiet Tuesday afternoon prove EVs not practical" . And on that subject let me know if you ever plan a visit to Tesla Winnersh SC hub, coffee on me. And talking of coffee have you considered a ko-fi or a buy me a coffee link?
I bet you don't get to the Isle of Wight but very few chargers on the Wight.
Morning mate
All them coffees you'll need to wee😂
Cheers Dave
I'm in Sunny Southport, be interesting if you are ever near.
I have found EV charging to be a sociable experience many times with new owners needing assistance or chatting about experiences. This does sound like a great chance for some of us to catch up. Thanks Dave.
Thank you for putting Preston on the map.
Cool
Dave, this response to your meet and greet should be of no surprise to you, you have a fabulous channel that is educational, technically informative and humorous. 👍
Put Kent on the list 🙃 I have found a different type of person when charging .. all have been interesting – I guess it is because of who can afford one. The best was a guy in a Porsche Taycan heading to the Channel Tunnel. He had a big rolled up rug filling up the rear of the car which he was apparently taking to his own Ski Lodge in Switzerland 😉😁
Nice chat dave .I have emailed
"I wish you all the luck in the EV World…..what you are doing is original and the way you do it…………stardom on the EV Circuit is coming your way!!" My name's Ian.😎👋
Well done Dave.
If you’re interested in understanding how my business is going get in touch.
