In this video I celebrate my first overnight at our new survival bunker property in Alaska!
After the gross clean out of that rotten trash heap (see previous video links below), I got to move onto the nicest part of the property, the ridge, to start cleaning it up and accessing the possibilities.
After cutting in a trail for my truck, I begin clearing the ridge and install a fire pit. Next, a very stupid fishing trip with my cowboy corgi yields a fresh rainbow trout (miracle!) which I cook on the fire. I soak up the night and then retreat to my homemade truck camper. Cozy and ahhhhhh…… fully reaping the rewards of hard work and sweat equity!
If you enjoy watching other people work, you’ll LOVE this video! LOL

Not sure I'd agree with the "taste-a-vision" idea. It would be great, but too many people would eat their iPad's watching this video. That's a bunch of indigestion right there.
Tell Dave you cleared out a spot for him to practice his cabin building skills.🤣👍👋
A cup of decaf coffee has about 2mg of caffeine. It still perks you up and I'm sure it tastes good.
I'm protecting my mama! Lol
Brook, you are amazing! For many years I had to push beyond my energy to do what had to do (widowed at 29 with 3 little girls). I love watching you and how you are not afraid to attempt and do just about anything. Well, this 82 disabled woman now loves to watch you do what you do along with your strong faith. God Bless you and continue to do what you do. I love it and your furbabies. Moose and Maizy.
This feather it could it be from the yellow oriole.
Love all your videos and makes me happy to see all the amazing adventures and accomplishments. I pray with you everytime you bless your food and I feel God's presence.💖Blessings❤
Just started watching your videos. Really like them. A word of caution I loved hard work and heavy lifting. Now my knees are shot. Be careful. Loved pup and fishing!!
How about a yurt?
Beautiful, I love how much you appreciate Gods beauty. You have to be the hardest worker I’ve ever known. 🙌🏽
Geeezz….these little dogs are crazy. Scout would be the same way with fishing from a kayak. nice work Brooke all around

Fantastic video Brooke 🙌
The best. Thanks for the prayer.
I'm seriously envious of your life. I'm too old now to live my dreams, so I've had to make other dreams. You are blessed, but you also create your own blessings. Love and light to you always,.
Yellow sapsucker? I've seen them here in KS and their feathers are that color!
What brand is that rocking chair you just put together?
That fishing was hilarious!!! 😂
Do you still have your Collie?
This girl can do more work than 2 men…Tuff enough 🙄
It's so beautiful there! Thanks for sharing!!
My guess as to what species of bird left that feather is the Eastern Yellow Wagtail – but that's only a guess. They are fairly common in Alaska during the summer months.
Did you keep much from the bunker? I noticed they were rolls and rolls of garbage bags, but anything else of value that you kept or made into something?
Great work a nice fish I don’t think the dog likes the fishing
What kinda boots are those?
He's so cute!!! Kudos on successfully keeping him in the kayak whilst pulling a fish and paddling with one hand!!! 👏.
My grandson has promised to invent tastavision so look for it in around 10-15 years
I think we need a bigger boat… Moose getting so excited over fish made my day. Thank you.
Please forgive my ignorance but I noticed your gun's not on your hip aren't you worried about a bear or a wolf back there? Obviously not or you'd have your gun on your hip. Lol
