So we are essentially stuck with death or Slavery. Knowing how we are, I'm expecting us to go full Scorched Earth if need be. I do however want to see the Grav Bomb in use. It sounds like the best Dakka.
Idiocy compounded by madness! They got busy playing politics , they forgot there was a war going on. Morality! A much abused concept i despise. It is always used to deter from rational necessary action , to ensure survival . It is as though self defence is immoral these days. As if competency is wrong.
Why is it immoral to eradicate an enemy who attacked you? You allow them time to breed and grow , they will come at you with better weapons , superior numbers if they can, to wipe you out.
Trajian was right. The roman emperor i mean. Did you ever hear of a Dacian revolt after the conquest? Egypt rebelled, Libya rebelled , Hispania ,Britannia , Gaul, each rebelled,. Dacia ..they remained loyal. Not enough Dacians left to rebel.

Thank you for the video. The main problem with AI enemies, is that a single well made vessel, sent somewhere with enough resources to rebuild, with all signs of its launch removed, can lead to a seemingly never ending war, with it advancing its knowledge and technology at every opportunity. I'm honestly expecting that they'll need to create an even more advanced AI or super virus in order to overcome it. Which naturally brings its own problems and dangers.
ET: That weapon of yours that bends reality, violate half of the laws of physics, wiped out the previous enemy in seconds and has the federation seriously considering declaring your race the worst threat to the galaxy?
Human: Yes?
ET: It didn't work this time. The invaders destroyed our fleet.
Human: Oh. Then I guess we'll have to use the emergency weapon.
ET: THE FUCK YOU SAY???

Ah that's the fun part of humans, we always have some more horrible weapon we're still reluctant to use. Or if we're out of them, some idea that we thought was a little to dangerous to try. Or some absolutely insanely reckless option to try and turn things around. Or at least the psychotic stubbornness to burn it all down with us.
