Interesting. I hadn't thought to try this. I appreciate the effort to reduce the impact of your maxed out great hall. I'd guess most people who fail at this don't have high enough resists or accuracy so the heal reduction keeps proc'ing on them. Sidenote, I pulled Drexthar when I was at 90 shards lol On the plus side, I now have a +1.
Wtf- once you get the fragments for drexthar and you’re able to summon him, the fragments go away from the shop. You cant keep pulling fragments for him …..
Ok – looks like there's lots of confusion in the comments.
Drex fragments: you can collect 100 in the Bazaar. Once you collect 100, he disappears from the Bazaar and you can summon him in your portal under "fragment fusions"
You can also pull Drex from Ancient & Sacred shards
Ash is referring to pulling a Drex from a shard (or pulling him multiple times from shards), and still collecting fragments for him in the Bazaar. In that case, you can use as Demonspawn Faction Guardians or empowerment.
Personally take a faction guardian over an empowerment. He should do okay as is and my Wythir would love some more hp. There are I think a few Demonspawn legendaries that like their hp. I don’t have an extra of him though. Just Rhazin, when I eventually fuse him.
I love how Ash was speaking about a mastery that he is saying he is using but actually wasn't. Spirit haste is on the support tree while he has the defense tree filled out. I was looking through choices made that were being shown he has equipped for masteries and makes a lot of sense. Some masteries on support makes sense but only see a few on defense that at first glance have even better healing. Guess overall the healing % added to the regen set is a plus if u can get resist and defense high enough. But think this is a first time I seen Ash speak about having masteries being used that weren't shown as being used.
Hey Ash, love the video, built my Drex accordingly "almost". Get to the Ice Golem no problem, but I only have 177 resist and get smashed by the heal reduction from the golem add. In the video, it would have been nice if you had really focused on the required resist. I am doing Ice Golem 21 not 25 with the below stats and cannot get past the heal reduction getting applied twice. HP 61,999 ATK 1599 DEF 3354 SPD 195 + Masteries C.Rate 35% C.DMG 88% Resist 177(Great Hall +15 included) ACC 234
Ash you forgot to mention the importance of resistance because it will help remove the Heal reduction you get both in the waves and from the left minion.
Awesome stuff Ash! I requested these kinds of solo build videos, super hyped that you made it happen! I actually 6-starred my drex for a clan quest, now I actually found a use for him so thanks! Excited to see more videos like this in the future hopefully ☺️
Would be nice but I'm looking at at least 99 more days before I can even GET this Drexthar Bloodtwin; as I can apparently only buy 1 shard every 24 hours. 😜
Then again, by that time I may (hopefully) have some decent gear to put on that champion as currently I'm still trying to scrape by with a bunch of crappy artifacts. 😉
There is still one problem, why farm ice golem when there aren't any events or tournaments live? Silver and exp for your food but no useful sets is a bummer.
"EVERYONE" is unfortunately not in end game and has not even close that gear or great hall or +2 drexthars :(. Nice to see it works, but really not realistic for mid game players
Question! Wouldn’t life steal have a similar effect than regen? Since he is the one hitting… He would be healing simultaneously… does burn damage count towards lifesteal perks?
I'm seeing a lot of people disheartened because they're assuming this won't work due to gear requirements etc. I think the point of the video wasn't that this is a trick to jump straight into farming IG25 then soloing UNM clan boss and Doom Tower hard on a brand new FTP account. It's just a trick to level fodder and farm some gear for your specific account level by choosing the appropriate stage of IG. For example, if you're newer to the game, this could be how you do Ice Golem 16 instead. Then once you have a bit better gear, do IG 20, then up to 24 a few months later, then 25 when you're stacked (obviously correcting for affinity along the way). I'm mid-game and don't farm IG much anymore, so next fusion I might try this for the event and just do IG20 instead of 25.
can some 1 explain for me why everybody uses the giant slayer not the warmaster? Becouse in numbers the warmaster is better. 60% chance 10% or 4% DMG VS. 30%chance 7.5 % or 3% DMG and all two dmg from targets max HP Its because the every hit thing?
I liked the video Ash. Do you offer online support also.. or account take-over… Ive been playing for 3 YEARS but still no where near what I should be considering

ASH… I have 3 Drexthar’s. Should I use to empower? Not worth keeping dupes?
To equlize stats with f2p u should have taken off all accessories. There is no other way.
