As we all know, Drake has been pegged wit the ghostwriter label for a long time. As time goes on more reference tracks have leaked but this one is the most significant so far

  1. The other videos are coming but the breakdowns take me a lot more time. If you like smaller videos like this one, these are honestly really easy for me to pump out. I could probably do a video like this one every single day. But I do prefer the longer videos and I think that's what you guys really enjoy also! Appreciate the support! 2. I’d also like to add that this is an example of what Kendrick meant in the Euphoria line “I hate the WAY that you sneak diss”.
In Mob Ties, Drake meant that as a subtle diss to Kanye that only Kanye and his people would receive. That calls back to Kendrick’s line in Father Time when he mentioned that he was confused that Kanye and Drake had ended their beef.

Fortunately, Mob Ties type diss won’t work on Kendrick because Kendrick has ties to not only West Side Pirus but also most (if not all) California black street gangs at this point since effectively unified the West Coast in its support of him with the Not Like Us record.

Drake, on the other hand, only has ties to J. Prince as long as he can make money for him. This is at least part of why Drake bought the property in Texas, to be where he feels protected, and sold his house in California where he may feel less comfortable.

  3. This is so stupid, part of making music is sharing ideas and creating art. Drakes wrote songs for people too, they all do it. Plus all them rapping on the (original) tracks, literally sounds like AI

  4. You reaching only cause is Drake.. Some of the biggest Hip Hop legends have had help with some of the most iconic records and albums. Gillie the Kid wrote near the whole entire Carter 2 and 3 album for little Wayne and Jay-Z wrote one of the biggest West Coast rap songs for Dr. Dre and Snoop. That's nothing new in Hip Hop.

  5. This is really not a rap song, never mind a battle rap song… This is a vibe more than anything else and it slaps … So Dirt if this is a reason for you not to be a Drake fan anymore than just say so… If this was Duppy freestyle yeah than I could have said its a big deal but this is nothing. Drake take people music lyrics and vibes and makes it huge. Let that dude rap that same song and lets see the numbers… than we can talk again. Anways Kendrick beat drake in this battle, but aside from the scathing allegations against drake… He makes more pallatable day to day music that I can put on everyday and kendrick makes soul searching music grown people music thats it. If you got it than you got it even if it was given to you. The only thing I learnt is that Drake is just not a battle rapper he is made for subliminals, because he perfected it. Meek was just weak and late Drake got lucky.

  7. The lyrics between the song is different, I gotta point that out. Can't let you run w/ that one!

Drake's version is way better & not the same lyrically speaking.

& this is from a die hard Kendrick fan.

  8. I literally don't see what the big surprise is – the song literally starts with "sick of these n*z, i'm hiring some help to get rid of these n*z" … which is exactly what Drake did by hiring Vory to write a diss song that scared his opps so badly that it made Kanye apologize….
