When people first came to Disneyland, it was a completely new experience, as they were telling a story you got to step into instead of simply providing some fun and games.

Awhile back, we linked longer phrases with shorter phrases or simple words. Those longer phrases were called definitions.

I mean also the fact that the definition of a ride means that it requires movement. So rides are attractions but not all attractions are rides. Examples include hall of presidents, monsters inc laugh floor, bugs life, etc. Just like a square is a rectangle but a rectangle isn't necessarily a square. This also is the basis for the A-E attraction ticketing system used decades ago.
