Why Didn't Disney Use Mara-Jade Skywalker? (Lukes Wife) #starwarslegends #disney #marajade

Most star wars fans agree that lukeskywalkers wife, mara jade was the one character gl was pretty indifferent towards and probably wouldn’t adapt in his sequels, so why the hell didnt disney betray him and just do it anyway,
similar to how gl released his saga out of order, could disney have done episodes 10 11 and 12 first then 7 8 9 as a prequel. If a marajade reveal was implanted into the last jedi (11) it would probably justify this scene a little bit more.would that split second of Luke thinking of killing Ben be received better if was in defense of his wife and daughter. I also think its important to remember this self fulfulling prophecy is similar to anakin in a way. Visions of padmes death drive anakin to cause this.
However Kylo could not bring himself to kill his neice, he mind wipes her and abandons her on Jakku. Then Episodes 7 8 9 would adapt Heir to the empire. We would meet a young Mara-Jade and how her and luke fell in love. similar to the prequels it’s a story the audience mostly knows. You’d get a chance to tell a very unique Jedi love story. A missed opportunity to have a 12 film saga and to betray the creator once more.

Star Wars Legends’ Mara-Jade Skywalker was not used in the Disney sequels. Could she have helped justify the self-fulfilling prophecy Rian Johnson tried to create for Luke Skywalker and Ben Solo.
