I agree about warthunder being a stunning and realist game, however to be competitive you need to keep buying stuff, it ruined the game for me. It didn't have naval combat when I played it so might give it another try.
I remember seeing a Concorde for the first time sitting at JFK about 3 Days before it crashed…don't know if it was exactly the one but it was a Air France Concorde so the chance is 50 50 …. I think the sonic boom is not actually the reason Concorde was a commercial failure ….it was politics…The US hated the fact Europe was ahead of them in that type of technology …They had their own project that failed due to astronomical cost…wanting to build the plane from titanium with swing wings like the SR 71and Tomcat is crazy… the problem with the sonic boom was adressed after the project was cancelled ….I remember living in the flight path of numerous military aircraft in Germany …seeing F-16s A-10s and Tornados doing low level flights about twice a week….nobody gave a damn about that…and I actually enjoyed it as a youngster
I'd check flight list then stock markets or soon to be invented stuff đ¤
'miles'? 'feet'? I thought you said the Concorde was from the 20th century and not the dark ages?
Because of fibromyalgia, I've only ever visited Europe once. The 8+ hours-long flight proved way too much for me to handle. I wonder if that would have been different if supersonic flight was an option.
Concorde wasn't even the fastest airliner
im so annoyed warthunder cant run on my PC
To be fair FIFA still gets better than the iPhone camera every year
Stop doing paid promotions mate it's annoying. Paying for YouTube Premium and suffering this, is not right.
Got me on the new FIFA features
A really hardworking drug dealer.
OMG I LOVE YOUR HUMOR
America started developing their own concorde like plane at the same time as the Brits. America decided it was not economically feasible. Turns out it was the right decision.
Of course you made that part up!!
I mean, who's ever heard of this "Benjamin Franklin" guy?? It was obvious that you made up this character.
Like the person who invented the Model T-Ford, Elon Tesla…
Ps: Yes, I am joking. Everyone knows his name was really Nikolai Tesla.
Ps: Yes, I'm still joking.
I knew a guy who was a fat cat business man in the 80s. When his bank would send a junior exec to London for meetings, he would call the guy, tell him to get an extra seat on the Concorde, on the company's dime, and a cooler. Then give him an order for steaks.
This missed out a very interesting chunk of the story… Why she didn't sell so well. Our so called friends over in the U.S of A realised that their attempt of bigger and better supersonic passenger aircraft (Boeing 207) was going nowhere – so they trash talked Concorde. Limited where it could be sold in the world "because it could have been modified to carry and drop a nuke at supersonic speed" (complete BS) and used their financial might to sell slower, American aircraft at a much better price if countries didn't buy Concorde. Similar stories see youtube videos on the Canadian Avro Arrow and the UK TSR2 – all fascinating aviation history. 2 other notes: 1 America where one of the main countries banning overland supersonic aircraft (once the 207 was cancelled) However the space shuttle and landing space x boosters all create(d) a sonic boom overland (nobody notices that double standard..) 2 the B747 was developed as a "b" project to the 207 – after all who would want to fly in a slow aircraft with all these supersonics around… (search for history of the 747 on yt also interesting stuff)
This guy looks better and better everyday
I remember seeing one flying low over Calgary and it was so amazingly fast one perceived it to be very small. A wonder for the day for sure!

Didn't expect the Street Fighter reference đ
did I heard ALPHA WINGS? lol lol lol
I like how the show, "The Man in the High Castle" has the Nazi's have a similar version of the Concord, except theirs have pulse jet engines.
Why was the fastest plane destroyed, because the Concorde you show here is not the fastest plane ever built. But congratulations on the 242,000 clicks we need more info like this to help people get loaded.
You don't have to go supersonic to be loud. Thunderscreetch for example. (Yes the prop was supersonic but not the plane itself)
Boy this thumbnail and title has changed maybe 50 times in 3 days
The Concorde is not even close to the faster plane ever. What the actual fuck?
$$$ just to costly to run day to day.
X-15 is faster. Correct me if I'm wrong. Most if not all Concorde's are still around on display.
Stupid CLICK BAIT!!! Thoughty2 = Useless.
yeah no weird ass mush stash.
Thoughty, where half-a$$ed fact checking is the name of the game. Seriously, how do you get away with phoning it in with this rubbish? I would have gotten a D for this if I handed in this video in 7th grade.
Why the deceptive title ? Concorde was the fastest airliner ever built not the fastest airplane ever built.
Many planes are still flying with analog instruments and flight engineers. That probably didnât have anything to do with it. Of course most planes also have GPS installed with a few being upgraded to a full glass cockpit now
