Does it cost more to make a penny than a penny is actually worth? How much copper is in a penny? I remember in the second world war pennies were made of something else. You know for the war effort and all that. They sort of looked like lead. Maybe if taxes were rounded up, or rounded down, we would not need pennies. Then we could start with nickels.
