  1. we are never leaving our solar system either. we are life that developed because of our star. if we try to leave our star, i do not think that will go over well for us. in a way , we are bound to our star. I even think it's possible that if we even try to go to another star in the universe even if it's very similar to ours, I think it will still kill us… because it's not our star. I think we would be super sensitive to even small differences that are apparent in other stars…( of course I'm not stating this is 100% fact, but we do still have a lot of things to learn and it wouldn't surprise me if this happened to be the case. It's possible that we would not have enough time to evolve the ability that would allow us to live at that different star)

  2. Colonize is big word. Its as if nature bends to our will , when it doesn't. Earth was conducive to life that's why we arose here and not on mars. Parallels with exploration of america is foolish because people were already living here when europeans arrived.
