The discovery of the Chinese emperor’s burial complex in 1974 became one of the most important discoveries in history. The burial complex contains around 8099 life-size terracotta statues of soldiers equipped with chariots, cavalry, armored soldiers, and crossbow weapons. Uniquely, each terracotta soldier has a variety of hairstyles and features. Some have forelocks, some have beards, some have hats and loose tunics, while others, have armored vests with braided hair.
