Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching!!! Today, we are called to a very challenging situation. A paving company is laying asphalt on a county road when their paving machineβs drive tracks quit working. The customer works on getting another machine on site, while we have to remove the defective machine. There are several problems, though. First, time is not on our side. Asphalt is cooling and hardening rapidly in the machine and multiple dump trucks which are lined up waiting to dump their load into the machine to repave the road. The machine is heavy and the asphalt left in the machine has to be removed. Lastly, we are on a narrow county road without a shoulder and we arenβt allowed to damaged the freshly placed asphalt. To help us with this situation, the customer uses one of their skidsteers to level out an area beside the road which will hopefully hold the weight of our Peterbilt 389X with a Miller Industries, Century 1150R heavy rotator towing and recovery unit. Itβs just a little light-weight machine that weighs in at around 73,000 lbs (33112 kg) We also get to use our new EarTec EVADE headsets. I hope you all enjoy this video!!! Thanks for watching and God bless!!!

My common analogy, βthere are many ways to reach 10β. I could have approached this (any) job several different ways. The approach method is important, but more important is achieving the desired result, safely.
Again, a very special thank you to all my viewers, family, and friends who having taken the time to show their support. May God bless and protect you all!!!

I used that exact technique as Ron donβt stand under a pallet that is raised in the air what I do at my job is kick it while keeping my body n feet away from under it stiring clear of hazards. If product falls always stay clear of it donβt try to catch it nothing is worth your life. Safety first
Those guys must be so used to everyone else standing around watching them run their machines, they all get to take a break and watch a wrecker pro run his machine.
Great job on that odd job but it is nice to see different jobs on your page Ron Pratt
Why did they leave it running ??
When you almost hit that skid steer just blame it on Ethan jk ππππππππππ
Awesome job and video. You're a very talented and professional operator good luck be safe. Denis from Santa Rosa CA.
An inch n a half. SMH. Those dudes must be seamstresses at home…ππ
Good job Ron and Ethan! It's always good to see the oddball jobs that you guys do, like the harvester, as well as the "normal" stuff. Thanks for taking us along!

Nice play on words, with the title of the video
Good job! Have you guys fixed a ashpalt truck at Midwest Truck Sales & Service?
nice video
Now the basket is the best way to lift those pavers because they are really like a 80 20 weight 80% on the screed and drive wheels. And 20 % hopper.
β€ very impressed well done good work
I love watching you problem-solve on a brand new lift! They're all the same…but differentπ.
Lol π thatβs hilarious 1:39 β¦. Welcome to construction π¦Ί Ron. Tight spots and ignorance with a side of egos thats why im OTR.
Well done job. Couldn't it done any faster. That was a classic perfect executed pickup load and roll job.
Love that spreader bar did it come with the tator if not where did you get it
Another job well done.
WOAH horsie!
Check with the headset company if there is anyway we can get both sides of the communications . It would be fun hearing both sides
why did you tie the red and white hooks together? just to add another 6 or 7 foot to the length of the hooks?
I really love those customers with a "wash me but don't make me wet" attitude π Creates so much more work but also adds fun when you successfully overcame the challenges.
I'd like to see a video from some of these record-breaking hot days
Excellent as always β€
Another good safe job Ron
Donβt know why the guys didnβt help to spin the machine. You had it centered. Hot work.
Now that's a speed bump. π
as my pop used to say – an inch is as good as a mile.
Enjoyed the lift!
Ron, When you talk about your equipment, I hear a proud American
