Who’s Winning in YNW Melly’s Double Murder Trial So Far?

Rapper YNW Melly’s double murder trial has proceeded for three weeks. The prosecution continues to present evidence they allege links Melly, born Jamell Demons, to the killings of his two friends, Christopher Thomas Jr., aka YNW Juvy, and Anthony Williams, aka YNW SakChaser. Melly’s defense has taken every chance they’ve gotten to criticize and minimize the state’s evidence, claiming none of it proves the rapper shot and killed the victims. The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber hosts a debate on which side, prosecution or defense, is winning the case so far with Florida State Attorney Dave Aronberg and criminal defense attorney Natalie Whittingham-Burrell.

  1. A real man shows responsibility for his or hers action so take a plea for yourself and the victims family where’s nelly conscious I don’t care if nelly facing a 1000 years be a man

  2. Hold the phone shouldn't they be comparing the wounds and entry angles around here? What u do u mean there was no blood. U can't cuz they clearly haven't prove the angle of the shots that blew their heads off!!!??

  3. The defendant made a good argument, but trying to overcome the kill shots[inside the car]; where they came from is direct evidence. YNW Melly phone does put him at at the crime scene, but did Melly have his phone??? That would create doubt, from the defense; but the video of him getting in the car places Melly there. This is a lot to take in, but I know the jury pool will make the right decision.

  4. Alot of guys are just such fan boys that u ignore stuff… the jurors not thinking like u the juror would be thinking like what he hiding if melly innocent we live in a society where its guilty till proven innocent
So all the people saying Melly doesn't have to prove anything unfortunately the court doesn't work like that anymore you try to do that and you will all but convict yourself guaranteed
Him acting like that is just gonna confirm what they already stereotyped these guys as so keep thinking that way and when the trails over and he's not free popping bottles like all you fan boys think we'll well look back on this and have alot of questions 4 yall cus u not watching the same trail
The physical evidence points to them doing it and being there
Circumstantial evidence gets people life in prison all the time so I don't know why people act like circumstantial evidence isn't enough to convict someone
Remember the famous Alex murdaugh trail all Circumstantial evidence everybody said he's getting off Scott free he will be out mark my words how did that go buddy that was literally like 3 months ago

  5. Clearly the fan boys don't know how the court system works plenty of people go to jail all the time without a murder weapon found just like plenty of people get life in prison for circumstantial evidence all the time do u not remember the world famous most viewed criminal trail this year Alex murdaugh all Circumstantial evidence how did that work out ok then!

  6. Looks like a gun is in that satchel (man purse) causing it to swing back and forth as he saunters over to the vehicle to position himself in the left hand side of the back seat to position himself for the impending assassinations. Motive is greed (money) and possibly mental issues both attributed to Melly. Now trying to blame the driver of the vehicle…sad.

  7. Why whould he kill his childhood best friend like u have to think like they were like brothers I don't think he is guilty and there was another person in the car to so the other guy probably did it so I don't think he is guilty

I am new to this YNW Melly thing, seems such a shame a young lad who had such an interesting way with words went down this road. I've a few of his lyrics and some of them are really cool. I don't know if he actually wrote them, but still, whole thing is so sad 🙁 the poor parents of not only the victims but also of the perpetrators (presuming they are guilty, right?)

But RIP victims, I hope justice is served!

  9. YNW Melly isn't the one "THEY" (the police) wanted (As the woman on the panel suggested)….ALL the EVIDENCE leads them to YNW Melly!!!!!!!
To go after somebody else, would be going off track! The evidence simply doesn't lead them nowhere else!
They're certainly not gonna let Melly and Bortlen lead them on the direction of a "drive-by!" (That's what we call " A wild-goose-chase) would be allowing the suspects to make them look silly, and make fools of them.
