Rex is the jerk I kept calling Gambit right down to the powers. (I was jealous, but Gambit is actually a good boyfriend and husband to Rogue and I softened over the decades. )
Amber and atom eves father are way worse. To be honest, I know a lot of people like rex and yea he’s annoying and an asshole but I feel like he’s the most human out of the superhero’s. He’s a shitty human. But still human.
Rex is a trained assassin from childhood. On top of that, his power is ridiculously overpowered, it's based on the mass of whatever he energizes, with high mass objects, like a human body, going damn near nuclear. If he actually uses his power full blast, he can basically nuke something once. Still a lil bitchboi tho, but Invincible is like addicted to redemption arcs
