  1. Deflecting questions and harping on minute points doesn't tell us anything about why you're running and why we should consider you as a candidate. I think the conversation around fatherlessness and its effects are important, and I would have loved to hear his take on how to go about solving it.

  2. Thorough interview. The Breakfast Club probably didn't really properly prep for him so he got away with spewing his usual talking points (and the comments under that breakfast club interview was scary to me) but i like the fact that y'all directly countered & challenged his one dimensional talking points.

  3. One of the things I dislike about folks like Larry Elder is that they will use statistics from their trusted sources to make their points or arguments. But when the other person uses statistics to make their points, even when it’s from the same source, it gets dismissed as being false. It became a dishonest discussion on his part at that point.

  5. Even though I agree there's systematic racism to a very large degree IME a lot of low income black neighborhoods have crime primarily because of other blacks. I remember in a tough part of town I was living in in Boston another bm tried to mug me because of looking at him the wrong way. It was even worse than one time I was on the bus and saw a wp skinhead with the 14 words / the 88 phrase / the swastikas and the nazi lighting bolts.

  6. Let me not answer the question: What have I done to help prevent Black father-less-ness. Let me not answer the question about Black home ownership and economic expansion in the 1940's. Let's just say 1995 Barack Obama.

  7. Y'all try to talk a good game but even with your college education we the American public see that y'all really aren't when you do a interview you should learn all you can about everything you complain about y'all try to call someone out but everyone that y'all support are brainwashing you but keep voting for them and your people are just fine where you are

  8. I wish Mr.Elder would have talked about all the white people that are victims of violent crime from black people because they are victimize more by blacks than blacks our of whites blacks target white people but they don't get charged with a hate crime thats the very definition of a hate crime targeting someone because of their race but all don't want to talk about that only what white people do to blacks y'all can't have it both ways

  9. When a guess comes on the show you should give that person a chance to talk seems to me there's a double standard I've never heard y'all once talk about one horrible crime committed to whites by a black person I can show you a never ending amount of proof if you want it

  10. I think the big elephant in the room that no one wants to label is hip hop culture which is accepted by a majority of black Americans as “black culture”. No one wants to point out how it has destroyed the very community that champions it. It was preceded by the Hollywood blaxploitation of the same community. Also who has profited immensely from the stereo typing and destruction of our communities??? While “the whiteman” is the constant scapegoat there is a very specific whiteman that is the chief beneficiary of our destruction. Ask Kyrie Erving or Kanye who they are. Michael Jackson made the same comments about this tribe as The Great Al Hajj Malik Al-Shabazz (Malcolm X) did….let’s point out what’s really going on.

  11. Larry is a complete joke to the Black Community! He doesn’t even know how to be an active listener. How is “getting an education, finish high school, don’t have a kid before your 20, get married first, get a job, don’t quit your job until you get another one, avoid the criminal system”, keeping the Black community from being poor Larry? Everything he claim that will not keep the black community poor sounds like a Gimmick for The Government. It’s nothing but Ways to keep the government rich, and ways to keep the black community in poverty. Go play in a different community Larry!

  12. I have a question I would love anyone to answer. As of 2022 there are 1.79 million black millionaires in America. How did this happen if there is so much “institutional racism “ today in America??? The problem with the vast amount of listeners of this podcast is that you conveniently choose young black emotionalism over aged Black Wisdom. It’s sad….

  13. They were so laser focused on building the strongest white boogie man argument possible, meanwhile; saying nothing that would or could actually help any black person. If everything is someone else's fault then your only hope is that the "someone else" will change their behavior. The looks on both their faces when he talked about getting married before having kids/finishing school/jobs etc was sickening.

  14. I've watched a few Larry Elder interviews and respected his stance. I always thought his stance was a bit unconventional, but still respected. What I noticed is that when someone (like in this interview) has numbers and data to refute Elder's misleading information, Elder makes no sense. What I learned from watching this interview is that Larry Elder is out of his rabbit ass mind.

  15. Asking Larry if he thinks black people have genetic predisposition to abandoning their children, committing crime, and being bad with money. If it's not genetic then it has to be systemic. Biology and environment are the only 2 drivers of human behavior, so he'll have to pick one or the other. This is how you deal with these people. It's put them in a logical chokehold each and every time.

  17. Larry Elder consistently speaking about the serious problem of fatherlessness in the Blk community is proof that he is actually doing something about the issue. He needs a higher platform in order to reach higher numbers of individuals.
