National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications John Kirby joined White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre at her briefing on Friday to preview President Biden’s trip to Warsaw, Poland, next week ahead of the one-year mark since Russia invaded Ukraine. Kirby also answered questions about the Biden administration’s response to recent aerial objects that were shot down over North America. Biden said there’s no evidence the last three unidentified objects shot down are related to another country’s surveillance operations.

It seems that Joe Biden ordered the military to shoot down a weather balloon that was launched by a group of balloon enthusiasts.
There should not be anything in sovereign U.S. airspace without proper clearance and authorization, at any time. It doesn't matter what the excuse is… you need proper consent from the United States of America. Exclusively. Everytime.

The government went to great lengths to recover the Chinese balloon but offered little to no information on the other three objects. Doesn't make sense. That sounds like a cover-up to me.
