As you level up Territory Standing in each area you get alerts for rewards you can choose. These Territory Rewards are pretty diverse and have far reaching implications to your gameplay and character.
You raise your territory standing in each area by completing town board tasks and killing mobs.
Rewards range from various xp bonus cards for your character, faction, and area standing to resource gathering, reduction in taxes, reduction in fees, and storage increases.

I just always picked increase rep gain so I can get it up faster and faster
Everyone has there own god damn idea of what cards to pick some say only get xp some say don’t even touch it it’s crazy
Btw xp card is useless there’s corrupted events that boost you 3000xp per 5mins level 60 in 1 day if you only do those in a large group
I'm choosing the same cards, storage>gathering, property tax, trading fees, crafting fees situational.
What happened to a 3 times a week tit schedule?
Territory standing by far is the best card you can take.

Great concise breakdown. I was doing mostly Territory standing cards but now that I understand the system better I wont be doing that.
