Cyberpsychosis is not treatable it’s self inflicted, it effects people who already have long standing mental issues and amplifies them, Maine always had the can’t stop don’t stop never want to stop mentality so going psycho just amplified that and chipping in new chrome is part of that

I think what everyone probably should have realized going into Edgerunners, was that it was a prequel to the game. And that literally anyone in there you don't see/hear about/meet up with in the game that wasn't the 12 foot tall giga unit of a cyborg was likely not making it out of there at all to tie up loose ends. Maine and every other cool character there was destined for death from the opening because odds are there is no way we're ever getting a sequel to that game.
