The US is desperate to stop China's rise, and Taiwan is to be another pawn to be sacrificed to buy the US another move before they lose. The US is already preparing for a future where they lose Taiwan to China, they're paying TSMC to build advanced chip factories on US soil, undermining Taiwan's role in global supply chains. It's so obvious that Taiwan is being prepared for a sacrifice. I suggest to the people living on Taiwan that they should figure out a way to get off the island quickly.
