So when do you predict we will see something ANYTHING Shadow of the Erdtree?
It’s coming right after Winds of Winter; they already have written 100k “pages” 😂🎉
Idk why people are surprised. I’ve been saying 2025 all year. Why? Because their initial plan was to release the first DLC and then a second. Had they stuck to that plan, we’d just be getting the first dlc give or take a few months , and they’d be starting the second which would probably take them a year. So that means initially, we’d be content with playing the first dlc while waiting for the second. Only, they pulled it and combined it. That means we have to wait the amount of time they’d develop and release the second dlc. Which they are probably just starting development for. It’s not coming for a long time, I say a year minimum.
Quality takes time. It’s as simple as that.

I’m happy to wait for the DLC. The alternative is they rush it and it’s horrible. I also think that’s likely a huge expansion project, not just DLC. Possibly as big as original Elden ring.
Just a theory though. Relax and enjoy the wait.
My impatience can get the better of me so I'm still disappointed that nothing was at least teased at the Awards show. Also doesn't help that I'm working on a video project involving Elden Ring and I was hoping to include DLC footage. If the DLC was only a month or two away, I'd be fine with putting it off but if we're looking at a potential 6 months wait, I'll carry on.

With how good the game came out, im glad to wait few more months to get an insane dlc right down whenever this is
don't forget they released PVP collesum update out of the blue it could be the same thing with this
Sony usually does a showcase in the beginning part of the year I wouldn't be surprised if that's when we see a trailer or have the opportunity to see a trailer for more info on that game
Elden ring opened my eyes to what good games can be. I want to touch my backlog while waiting but the only games I’m tryna play are souls games.
My three daughters were big into playing all of the Souls and Blood-borne games From Software had put out, and they convinced me to buy Elden Ring for them. I enjoyed it so much that I went out and purchased AC6 so we could all play it, so there’s definitely a carryover from purchasing Elden Ring that made me go out and buy AC6: partly because I felt pretty confident that the game would be released in a good state, and would be fun to play because of my experience with Elden Ring, and I was not disappointed!
At this point I do t think there is a dlc fromsoft came out with ac6 and we haven’t heard anything from Elden ring since. Fromsoft is so damn tight lipped about it which makes me think there isn’t anything else. At this point I’m done with Elden I’m moving to another game

Well we want to give them time so it will be close to perfect as possible you know

As long as they are making steady progress and we are going to get the DLC I don’t mind waiting and them taking their time.
Maybe a teaser/trailer or something would make people less antsy but as a whole I’m fine with the wait as long as we get it.
It’s easy to think that the map will be much more bigger in the DLC and That’s why they tooks so much time to make it.
I want them to take there time and I know they will deliver more content the more time they take. I trust fromsoft to deliver when ready, until then we wait.
In the dlc we are going to torrents world
Remember that normal dlc for fromsoft games has been 7 months, and the shadow of the erdtree is 2 years in the making. Let them cook because this is fixing to be HUGE!
